I must admit that I was hooked on these books before the whole "Twilight Hype" came about. I love this book! Stephanie Meyer does a great job in getting the reader hooked. The imagery is amazing I can just picture every single character as if they were in front of me (let me add that the movie totally ruined the book). It is directed for a young audience, but it can be very addicting!

good story, but a tad preteen. I bought it on a whim and later bought the sequels. I agree with the other reviews. Definitely for teenagers!

I had a really hard time getting through this book, it was a very slow read and really did not hold my interest. I kept pushing on hoping it got better. With all the hype on this series, I read the first two books, and have to admit that I am extremely disappointed. I will not read the others in the series.

More of a guilty pleasure than anything else. The plot borders on predictable, there is an abundance of purple prose, and yet you keep reading. I wouldn't liken it to Shakespeare or Dickens, I wouldn't say it's challenging or introspective--but it kills time in a wonderfully satisying way.

This is a great read--be prepared to get addicted and read all four quickly. This is an easy read, as it is meant for young adults, but it has themes that anyone can relate to.

Twilight was good, but towards the end I just got annoyed by Edward. It was sometimes hard for me to read about how much she loves him, while I think he's such a bossy person who pushes his weak human girlfriend around. It kinda pissed me off!

i was really skeptical with the whole twilight thing when it got big but when i started reading it, i couldn't put it down..i've read the whole series once and have started in again. i'm looking forward to when there will be new additions, at least i'm hoping stephanie meyer will start writing for it once again. i love her books!

I enjoyed the story but her writing is not what I'm used to. She writes like she is a 15 yr. old teenager. Yes, thats great for the book but sometimes can be difficult to read.

Easy reads but her word phases are rather limited. Her main character is always "dizzy" or her head is always "spinning". I understand the target audience is teenagers so I didnt expect much.

I love this book, and It's been a long time since I read a book. When I started reading Twilight I couldn't stop reading it. Best book I ever read.

I used to enjoy this book, but now that everyone's so obsessed with it I can't stand it. It's good, but not that good. It's hard for me to take the plot seriously after the first book. I've read all of them and I enjoy pretty much all of the characters, except Bella and Edward who slowly started to drive me crazy.

I have to say I'm not big reader it takes a lot for me to really like a book, I picked up twilight to see what all the talk was about when the movie came out. I love it, read all 4 books in about 2 weeks. I found the love story to great for any age.
