Good book and much better than the movie!

This book is great! It's a page-turner with a great storyline and a nice ending.

I loved this book oh so much! It's probably one of my top 5 books I've read throughout my life. I haven't seen the movie, so my recommendation for this book is based only off the book. I enjoyed Robert Patteson's character the most in this book because he's such a risk taker, but mostly he's just a young boy in love with the beautiful girl who rides elephants. Robert's character works hard to get to Reese Witherspoon's character but I won't ruin the ending for you. I loved the ending the most!

I hated this story as I was reading it. I got so upset at things that were going on, but I couldn't put it down. When I finished it, I cried. I loved the book as awhole. That review sounds confusing, but I really did enjoy the ending of the book. It was perfect!

I think this was an overall good book. some of the scenes were a bit tough for me to read as they are pretty graphic, in their depiction of the abuses against these animals. It was upsetting to hear these pieces of the story but I still could not put it down. In the end I wanted to finish the book in hopes for a good outcome.

Water for Elephants is beauty and tragedy mixed in with the ever-mysterious circus crowd. I appreciated the ending of the book and did a mental hooray for the main characters. The present-day chapters of the book were necessary to the story but made me a little sad.

I was surprised when I started to read this book to find out how divisive the circus could be. I appreciate the research that went into this book. Fascinating behind the scenes look at a struggling circus and the dynamics of the support staff versus the performers. I would definitely recommend this book.

Such a sweet movie. Sad in several spots, but overall really great! If you love romances, this movie is defiantly for you!

Such a great book, I really thought that I wasn't going to like it but I loved it!! It was written well and not too long, I read it way before the movie came out and was really pleased with the book!
