Very interesting movie, and eyeopener Definitely recommend it, my best part was the one of the piece of pie.

This movie was great. It almost made me cry. If your looking for a realistic movie, this is it.

This move is funny, sad and interesting. I didn't cry, but I got very close to. However, they basically say white people solved racism with a book. The overall storyline is far-fetched, in some points overly dramatic and ridiculous. It had very good acting, that's the thing that probably saved it in my opinion.

I wouldn't watch it again. I know it was made as a feel-good movie, but that's about all it did for me.

This movie though a shinning achievement in civil rights is a shallow rendition of a hate filled and violent time in American history. It uses cheap jokes and used cliches. If you like the actors then there is nothing that will stop you from seeing this. I wouldn't recommend this movie expect for the end revenge scene. However, if you can stomach this movie that long then by all means you'll enjoy this movie. In short, this movie is mediocre at best but if you want a light hearted comedy about one of Americans most recent violent times then by all means rent this movie and enjoy is for the cheap thrill that it is.

I wasn't overly impressed with this movie. It's a decent movie to watch if there is nothing else to watch. However, I think it was drawn out and it didn't come across as realistic enough to suit my fancy.

I would not really recommend this movie. The acting was not bad but the story line and the plot were too forced. The depictions were not accurate and the basic premise of the story is so overdone that its getting kind of old. I like historically based movies but when are they going to look into other points in American history. Most people that I spoke with that did like this movie were only interested in the entertainment value and to me that is okay but I like to watch movies for more than that and this movie did not provide much more. Overall I would say get over it and move on.
