I love this tool! It definitely gets off more hair than any brush will. I could use this on our Boxer for hours and still get hair off....especially around her shoulder area.

Love it! I have a yellow Lab and you wouldn't believe how much hair comes off. I brought it to the groomers when he went in for a bath and they loved it so much that they went out bought one for every groomer!

An amazing tool that makes deshedding my pets go WAY quicker than with any other brush, I recommend it to any customer that comes into our store looking for a good shedding brush. That said, be careful with how roughly you use it - it can be really tempting to dig in and just get all of that fur brushed thoroughly, but it's still a pretty heavy duty brush and can aggravate the pet's skin, especially the delicate skin on cats.

I love using this tool on our German Shepherd Mix mutt. It strips out a lot of the lose fur and undercoat that would otherwise end up all over our house. Our pup seems to enjoy the process as well as he sits nicely and doesn't leave until we're done brushing. The one downside is that we have to use this product frequently (at least once per week) to keep the shedding to a level we're comfortable with.

I use this on my cats, it helps keep clumps of hair off the floor more now than when i used other brushes. The cats don't mind being brushed with it either. A win - win situation for all of us.

Love this! For the longest time i could never find a brush that actually brushed my dogs short hair. The bristles were never small enough. This works great and pulls out more hair than i thought it would. I brush both of my dogs once a week and it helps minimize the amounts of dog hair in my house.

With the spring shedding season here, I finally broke down and shelled out $35 for the FURminator to use on my 4 shorthaired cats. These girls shed more then my long haired boy ever did and the slicker brush wasnt getting the job done. One cat in particular did not appear to be shedding at all, and the slicker never got anything off of her either, but the furminator did! Easily pulled out all the dead undercoat from all 4. When you look at it, it doesnt seem to be anything special, but once you use it, it becomes apparent the furminator really is better. It does tend to make the loose hairs staticy so do it on a bare floor and sweep or vacuum up after - there's no way to avoid it from happening. I am glad I bought it, there is a noticeable difference in the amount of hair on the furniture and corners

Great for some dogs, but not all The effectiveness is really dependent on your dog's fur type. They make some specifically for dogs with longer fur, but they aren't always in stock, so you'll be disappointed with the results of the regular one. BUT if you have the right one for your dog's undercoat, you might want to get a mask and goggles because the fur will really fly!

I like this tool it works great on my dog and she enjoys me using it on her, it removes alot of hair.

I used it on my lab and it really removed the undercoat that tends to shed on my bed and float on my tile floors. I recommend this to all pet owners!

Having an Alaskan Klee Kai(mini husky) this comb beats anything on the market!! He sheds his coat twice a year, we comb him outside. Helps keep the house clean of those pesky hairballs!!

I have a mix breed, short hair dog (Pit, Ridgeback mix, we think) and this is the only brush that has worked at all.

I agree that this product does do a great job, But.. I have a German Shepherd and at times she has a lot of under coat. It does do a wonderful job at getting that fuzzy hair off, in fact I've turned most of my yard white with her hair, but to comb her, all of her with this would take a long time, im talking hours. They need to make a larger one. all in all It does do a great job... I just wish it was a lot bigger
