I found L'Oreal Glam Lights to be an average product. I haven't had too many great experiences with at home highlighting kits. I was a bit nervous upon receiving. The directions were easy to read, but despite following them, my hair did end up a bit patchy in some places. It's not super obvious and I may be the only one that can really tell, but, nonetheless, it is my hair and I have to look at it ever day. My hair is somewhere in between medium and dark brown and I do have to say that the color of the highlights looks great and really compliments my hair color. Overall, I think it is probably worth using again, though I may ask for the help of a friend to see if it comes out more even.

I have highlighted my hair before and this was about the same as other kits I have used. Make sure to read the directions carefully. It is a little spotty but looks okay.

I was shocked and excited about this product! I was terrified when it originally came because I have never had a good experience with bleach near my hair and I have never done highlights before. The application process was simple, but make sure to properly read the instructions. The color turned out great I just wish I had known how to better space out the highlights

I was excited to try this product thanks to the SheSpeaks testing program! I've never done highlights at home before, so the detailed instructions were helpful. I didn't have any issues using the brush applicator but I think having a friend help would have been better. Overall, though, I found the experience easy and satisfying- I got tons of compliments on my shiny new highlights!

I received the L'Oreal Glam Highlights for medium brown to dark brown hair. Application was awkward. I have a few spots where it's just a spot/patch of blonde. It would have been better to have a 2nd person applying the color. I left it on for approx. 30 minutes and I do like the color but because of the application process, it looks very patchy - not natural at all. I'm most frustrated by the condition of my hair. Prior to this, I never colored my hair and it was always so silky and smooth. Now it's very dry and dull. I'm so disappointed in the final results.

This was a simple and easy to use product. However, in my dark brown hair, it was hard to tell that their were highlights at all.

I was given an this to review and I really liked it. I would recommend you have a friend apply for you because getting back of head is difficult.

This L'Oreal Glam Lights product was highly reliable, easy to apply and had a smooth consistency that blended well. The directions were easy to follow and on-point with what was depicted. It also blended well in my hair and gave it a pleasant highlight and gleam.

The color is great, but the brush is not. No matter how hard we tried, the brush does not evenly distribute product. Top of the head would look good, and then get very streaky and spotty near the middle and ends. Ended up having to re-do my hair the following week with a different hair product.

It was very light highlights - mostly can only see it in the sun. The highlights were very subtle but it gave my hair a very nice color and everyone commented how great my hair looked. You couldnt really see dramatic highlights but it gave my overall hair very nice definition.

I was nervous at first because this was my first time doing highlights, but it was very easy to use and I love how my color turned out. I had some issues with dripping the color solution when using the applicator (I put towels on the floor to catch the drips), but otherwise it was a great product.

I was really impressed with how easily this highlight kit was by Loreal GL50 for medium to dark brown hair. I personally haven't done any at home highlights in well over a decade. I was worried I would end up with a brassy color but instead it really just brought out my natural highlights. This would be a great kit for either experienced or inexperienced individuals. If you follow the easy instructions you should have no problems with it. Very self explanatory. This was a perfect time for Loreal to pitch a new product in this category as many women are ready to make a few changes to their looks for the spring and summer months that are right around the corner. I did try to upload the before and after pics but had some difficulty. Thanks for the opportunity she speaks and Loreal. One happy lady here.

I am a bit late with my review due to weather conditions delaying delivery of the package. My hair is a lighter brown and I had fairly good results.My sister happened to be visiting for the weekend and offered to help me apply the highlights.Due to this I think I had much better results than had I done it alone.I really think this is a two person project.There is no way I could have kept the brush straight from the top of my hair to the bottom doing this myself. I am not sure this is something I would buy on a regular basics but I may pick up a box a couple times a year and have someone help me apply it.I won't try applying it myself.Overall I am satisfied with the results.Its not salon results but neither is it salon cost.
