I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas and LOVE it! My mom got one for herself, my sister and I and we are addicted to Words With Friends. We play even if we are all in the same room. I take advantage of the free app of the day to see what else I can indulge in. I hardly sign on to the computer due to having the Kindle Fire right at my fingertips!

love my kindle fire, got it for my birthday and it does everything i want it to.

Friends & family have told me, numerous times over the past several years, that I needed an ebook reader since I am such a book worm. "Give up that feel and smell of a new book in my hands? NEVER!", I said. Well, my husband, smart man that he is, took the decision to change over right out of my hands when he bought me a Kindle Fire for Christmas. This thing is AWESOME. It's an ebook reader and a tablet for $200. What's not to like? While I don't foresee totally giving up my beloved books, being able to carry lots of books (not to mention games, apps and internet) in something that weighs very little more than a paperback makes me positively giddy. I have found a few minor things that I would like to see change. I would like to be able to make folders to organize my apps and books into categories of my choosing, for one. I would also like to delete apps right from the Kindle instead of having to go to the Amazon website. But neither one of those are a deal-breaker for me. I love my Kindle Fire and give it a two thumbs up!

I love my Kindle Fire. It is so easy to use, and so fun. I didn't realize when I got it how much it would do. I not only read, and in the dark, but going online and games. I can even listen to music while I read. It is a amazing thing.

Just got the kindle for Christmas and I love it. My biggest objection was the cost of the books. I thought that I would be spending a fortune on books but there are so many free or reduced price great books available through Amazon, it's definately worth it. So easy to use and it comes already set up for you. Happy reading!!

I have to say for the rate of books that keep piling up in my bed room, the Kindle Fire has saved me from having piles upon piles of books that i have read or whats next on my agenda. I say its way better then having an ipad. Theres places for books, music, apps, and more. Its also a life savor for a college student such as myself. I recommend this to anyone specially avid book readers.

The Kindle Fire is so cool! I had a Sony Reader and have always want a companion Kindle. Well this model is great. It includes the book ereader feature and so much more. I love the apps available and it is a quick moving device. I think the best thing is that you can customize the screen for reader in so many ways that everyone can find a comfortable reading screen. Love, love, love it!

I love my kindle fire. I screamed and jumped around like a little kid when I unwrapped it on Christmas day. Love the web capability. Love all the apps but wished they had some more. I love all the books and magazines that I can read for free and even the ones that are paid for. It keeps your home from being clutter with millions of books by being capable to keep all of them on one device. I am always on mine. I love how it is super portable. All I do is throw it in my purse and go. I am looking for some accessories to use with it but I am enjoying every minute of it!

OMG...This should have 10 STARS!!! I am in love with Kind Fire...Is it possible to be in love with with an electronic device!? LOL - I AM KNEE DEEP IN LOVE with Mz. Fire. My best friend was given the Nook color - she returned for the Kindle Fire once I showed her why I am in love.... 2 of my co-workers bought it after I took mine to work, and my daughter has it on her birthday list - even though I gave her my old Kindle!!

I found it under my tree and Christmas and I've been tethered to it ever since. I think, at this point I have more apps than books and it's perfect for managing my bills and grocery shopping as well as giving me access to the internet and emails. I left off one star because there is limited access to the Android Market. If you want apps, you have to go through Amazon, and there are several apps (including Google apps) that are not available. That makes accessing my calendar and google docs less than optimal. It's still great and always in my purse.

I love my Kindle Fire! I knew I wanted a tablet, but also knew I couldn't afford $500 for the entry-level iPad. The Fire is just what I need; I am able to carry it in my purse, so I have it on the go. When I am waiting for my kids at after-school activities, I can catch up on my reading, or even watch something on Netflix. My only complaint is the touch-screen keyboard is not friendly to those of us who do not have stick-like fingers. My 71 year-old mother has one, too, and she has a terrible time typing on it. If they came out with some kind of stylus pen that could be used on it, that would greatly improve my typing efficiency! Overall, I would definitely recommend this tablet to anyone wanting an easy-to-use device, without the bells and whistles of the iPad.

I bought the Kindle Fire for my daughter for Christmas. After reading about it I turned around and bought myself one. It is a great tablet to have. I would suggest it to anyone that likes to read, play games, search the web or just about anything. My daughters friends have one and they bring them over and play on them for hours. I have downloaded several books and love to have it to read with. The only thing I have found is that some of the books are costly and you can only get them from amazon. It is also a great place to keep cookbooks.

I love my new Kindle Fire. I got one for free with gift certificates I had earned for Amazon so that even added to the excitement. My husband even got one from my Mom for Christmas and loves his. Way to go Kindle!! I love that we can have all of the apps and everything we need right in our hand. I do wish there was a voice option for video calling, etc., but hey saving hundreds of dollars and not getting that - BIG DEAL!! I will not give my money to Apple, so being able to get this instead of the iPad which everyone swears by was a huge blessing. LOVE IT!!

So, having used a Kindle app on a smart phone and also having used a Kindle Keyboard, both of which I love, I have to say that the Kindle fire is an amazing piece of technology. At one point I had a tablet through my cell phone provider and returned it within 2 weeks. But the Kindle Fire manages to bring the best all together in one place. In addition to having access to, well, ALL the books...I cna access the internet and manage my email. I can play games, solitaire, etc... It's the perfect size and so easy to use. The only thing I think I dislike about it is trying to use in sunlight. for this, I would recommed the Kindle Keybvoard more highly. Otherwise, this is just about my favorite toy/tool/electronic/life-line and so forth! (This is apparently Android-based, which is my favorite OS for smart phones that I've ever used. However, there are a handful of apps that I can't seem to access that I like on my phone, but nothing that is a deal breaker.) Too funny...I was about to hit Submit and a TV ad for Kindle Fire came on. :D

Received Kindle Fire for Christmas from my husband and its the best gift i could have gotten. I can read book with it without my glasses. Play my music on it while reading dont need two seperate. The colors are great, its lightweight and pretty user friendly. For the price its a great reader/tablet.
