Everyone raves over this movie but truth be told, its lesser than the book, most movies are. It is a huge teenage fild with sparkly vampires. I still liked the book though =)

I liked the movie but hated it when comparing it to the book. The book is better but the movie is good in its own ways. If you dont compare the to then they are both really well done.

I did not overly enjoy it. It was hard to follow and i found myself falling asleep in the middle of it.

I feel like the people who made the movie could have done a better job. I know they had to cut a lot out to make it a movie but I felt like they sped up how Bella and Edward fell in love too quickly and the scene where Edward shows Bella his skin was incredibly romantic in the book and I couldn't help but laugh hysterically when I saw it in the movie. This book was so popular they should have been able to afford better CGI.

watching the movie at the movie theater, i was hooked. However, after finally reading the book and watching the movie the second time (DVD) i realized just how much the movie was off. Also Roberts acting was just bad. his facial expressions need help.

I think i would have liked the movie a lot better if i hadn't read the book first. The movie was alright but the book was amazing I read all four books in one month.

I have not read the book. The movie had a great story. Some of the acting was bad but you forget that when you get into the story. I love watching movies that are made from books , and look forward to reading the book

Books are always better than the movie. I did like the fact that they stayed pretty true to the book as far as the story goes. However I think the acting job was mediocre and the special effects were lacking! But all in all I wasn't really disappointed. I just hope in the next movie when they're scaling a mountain it doesn't look as though they are riding a fast moving escalator!

I found that the book was 10 times better than the movie but I have come to the realization that that is to be expected, you cannot fit every detail into a movie and you cannot market 10 hour movies. While I though the movie was just "ok" I do look forward to seeing New Moon and the rest of the collection to see how the movies evolve.

I usually like the book more than the movie, and this movie held true to my findings. Nice movie with poor acting. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it in the theater and waited for the DVD. I did watch the movie AFTER reading all 4 books.

I loved the books, but I just wish that the movie would have been longer. Look at the Harry Potter books, about the same length in writting and the movies are three hours. I thought people would loved it to be longer like that. I hope the next one is. I want to see mroe detail.

i have to admit when the whole twilight thing happened i was really skeptical..but my friend convinced me to read the book and i loved it so i decided to watch the movie..i thought the movie was horrible..they left out too much stuff that i thought was important to the storyline and probably would have made the movie a lot better overall.
