I love the taste of home series! The Light and Tasty give all the nutritunal facts btw for those that need to know them for all recipes. Including the exchanges for diabetics etc. When we aren't hosting a daughter in law and child then I love my Cooking for Two from taste of home and I have made my own cookbooks from the Taste of Home Recipe Card collection magazines. I've also found the recipes easy to adjust for our tastes and or needs. I gave the Taste of Home Simple and Delicious magazine to one of my daughter-laws . When she took a look at one of mine she kept saying......." I could make this, I think I really could do this" and she has and learned so much ....... things she wouldn't have learned because she was too embarressed to let me or anyone else help/teach her. I would definately recommend that anyone take a look at the Taste of Home Magazines because there really is one for everyone.

I remember reading this magazine when it first came out and it was horrible! My arteries clogged just looking at the pictures. I am glad to see they revamped the magazine to include many healthy recipes using fresh ingredients and more vegetables and herbs. If only they put the nutrition facts for all their recipes, it would go a long way in helping those of us who must regulate our fat, sugar, salt, carb intake. It is a much improved magazine and I did enjoy reading through it. The layouts and pictures were much better, cleaner and lighter. I look forward to reading future issues (and passing on the old ones).

I really like this magazine. It has very colorful pictures in it and a nice variety of recipes, most of which don't take a lot of time to prepare. You'll find a variety of easy to prepare salads, desserts, soups, and main dishes to prepare. My husband and I love to grow our own vegetables during the summer months and I have found many creative ways to prepare my squash, tomatoes, and broccoli in these magazines. I also love the variety of salad recipes in which I use my home-grown romaine and leaf lettuce. These magazines make a nice keepsake adition to my cookbook collection.
