This product wasn't the best. The color it different than it shows you. It isn't the same on your lips as it is on the tube. But it also stains unevenly. So parts of your lip are darker than the rest. I don't know about everyone else, but it also really dried out my lips. I wouldn't buy this again.

I didn't care for this product. I was excited when it came out and cover girl is one of my favorite brands, but I was disappointed with this lip stain. I felt like I was using a marker on my lips, they came out uneven and It didn't last long. I wont be using them again.

Interesting idea, but not the right formula for my lips. Very drying. Felt like cinnamon, but didn't taste like it, if that makes any sense. It definitely stained my lips, but wore off unevenly. Added gloss, which mde things worse. Tried a lighter application, but it wore off faster. Tried heavier application, which dried out my lips. I really wanted this to work! Such a good idea. I think it would depend on the texture of your lips and the desired outcome as to whether I would recommend it or not.

The applicator on this product seemed a bit dry to me, the color did not last very long, and it wasn't a very "there" color, in my opinion. I even got one of the darker colors, and it seemed to disappear after a very short time. I tried it with balm, and it seemed to make no difference. Not a purchase I will repeat.

I love lip stains,usually i buy a more expensive brand, the cover girl had great colors, the only thing i didnt like was also the applicator, too dry feeling, and slightly pulls on the delicate lip area. =(

I actually bought this product myself. It is easy to apply and smells good but it didn't last a long time. It seemed to disapear faster than normal lip stick. The word 'stain' in my mind would have been a long lasting color.

I received this free to try from BzzAgent. When I first used it I thought it was great, but the longer I used it, the less I liked it. It is a nice idea, but it doesn't last very long. It seemed to go on evenly, but the color I received was not the right one for me. Maybe if I had a color that matched better I'd like it better, but that still doesn't change that it doesn't stay on long.

This product is soooo awesome! It complimented my skin tone quite nicely. It was a reddish-orange color and it's great! I just wish there was a bit of moisture because when I put it on, it felt dry and gross. It didn't last very long, though. I had to keep on re-applying almost every half an hour. It is an overall great product though. I love Covergirl!! It costed about $6 or $7 at Wal-mart. I would totally recommend this to a friend!

I use this lip stain every single day. It's so nice to not have to worry about a washed-out look when I don't have any color on my lips. #415 is my favorite!

Maybe I just didn't get the right color, but I wans't a fan of it. I had to keep painting my lips for a while before the color showed up and by that time my lips were so dry and the color soaked into the lines and I couldn't smooth it out. I love the concept and will want to try a different color in the future.

I am pretty happy with this product with one exception...the applicator. Like most have said, it feels like a dried out marker. But one person mentioned dabbing it or using shorter strokes. I have been trying that and it seems like its working better. I agree they need more colors. I am not a fan of the heavy lipstick feeling and love the fact that I don't feel like I have lipstick on at all! If I want some moisture, I put a little gloss or lip balm over it. I really do like it!
