I was surprised at how much I liked this book. The story and characters were wonderfully developed and I very quickly became invested in the story.

I liked this movie. Of course the book was better but seems the books go into more detail then the movies. But I still really liked it.

Never read the book but always wanted too! The movie I did see- I'm sure it was nothing compared to the book! The movie was decent a little slow but I should read the book...

I read the book and then watched the movie. I loved the book and as usual...was not as happy with the movie. I liked it well enough but of course a book is always better than the movie and I like to create my own images in my mind and not let a director do it for me first.

the book was a good read but a lame movie, as so often happens. the author sped through some parts where i would have liked a bit more detail but it kept my attention, not an easy thing to do.

I really liked this book. I also saw the movie and it is a drama, action, and love story all rolled into one. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the ending is bittersweet, but good. The movie is great. I would recommend this book to anyone and it is an interesting read with a behind the circus theme.

Really good movie!

I wasn't sure how I would like this book but I was pleasantly surprised. Took me back to a period in time and a profession that I was unfamiliar with. An easy read but very enjoyable.

Touching story. If I had not read the book before the movie I would not have liked the movie much. Gruen does an excellent job getting you to understand the characters.

I absolutely loved this book...but the ending surprised me and left me disappointed. I still had questions!! But, it was a really good read!
