I have one cat and a Brussels Griffon. I must say that the FURminator is the best when it comes to grooming cats and dogs. Both my animals stay calm now when being groomed instead of running in the other direction because it does not pull the hair like other combs/brushes I have, and the amount of loose hair it removes is absolutely incredible. This is a "MUST HAVE" product if you have dogs or cats.

I love this product! i have 2 cats, one long hair, & one short hair. The one with long hair gets hairballs all the time, so I was on the lookout for a new brush. I came across this on sale at Petsmart and bit the $35 bullet. I was skeptical, as it didn't look like it would grab that much fur, but my goodness! After 5 minutes, I had enough fur to fill small wastebasket. Who knew a cat could hold so much fur? My cats generally love being brushed, but I have to be extra gently when brushing their bellies. The brush is designed to pull of the undercoat, so it can get a bit rough against their skin. Other than that, the Furminator is a great buy!

Best product ever!!! It really works!

This is the best brush I have ever used for my dogs. I admit for the price I was weary, but my worries were blown away by the results. It works like a charm on our German Shepherds, dogs blessed with the ability to shed year round. The amount of hair we took out in each brushing was just amazing and a relief for our house, since the dogs are indoor. I recommend this product to anyone with dogs with medium to long fur!

I have a border collie/lab mix and she sheds more than you can imagine! This brush is the only thing that has been able to help!!

LOVE IT!!!!! Now my lab goes and lies down when he sees me pick it up. Lent it to a friend with a Bermese Mt Dog and she went out and bought one the same day. She said it saves her a lot of time cleaning dog hair in the house. It is going to be in my X-mas packages for friends with dogs this year.

Now you wouldn't think that a smooth hair Dachshund would need this product...but let me tell you, he's got a furry neck. We won this item at a fundraiser and gave it to my mom for her Golden Retriever. But when we go to visit our 10 yr old dachsie gets done. I'm amazed at the results. Wonderful product!!! I really don't think size matters, because this is a 'small' and obviously the Golden is large, but it still works great!

We have two shiba inu dogs who both shed twice a year,so this tool has been a blessing in our house. It works quite well and the dogs both of them enjoy being brushed with the furminator,its amazing how much hair you get from just a few strokes on their fur,great tool!

This works great! Best brush to use when a dog or cat is shedding. Although they should come down on the price a little.

I have an english bulldog who sheds all year around. its crazy how much hair is all over my house. I brush him every other day even bring him to the groomer to get a good brushing and nothing seems to work after reading everyones reviews I just ordered one and is excoted to start using it Thanks

I have the larger one for my Shepard mix and Chocolate Lab. This is the best thing on the market! I just recommend brushing them outside since the fur begins to fly. But both of my girls come running when they see me pick it up. Fabulous product and well worth the money!

I am also going to say how well the furminator works for me. My cat sheds like it is his full time job. When he rubs my legs he leaves behind a cat's worth of fur. I just moved in with my boyfriend and the only thing that he asked was if I could get the cat groomed. I bought the furminator and we are both ecstatic because you would never even know that we have a cat. I only use it once a week now and I tell you, there is never fur on the sofa or on my pant legs. I also have the spray shampoo and conditioner that makes him smell fantastic. I love it!

I LOVE this product! I have a cat and a boxer and I use it religiously on both of them. While my boxer is somewhat afraid of the product, my cat actually enjoys when I use it on her. Both animals do not yelp in pain, though, when I am brushing them. It removes hair extremely well!! I have recommended this to several friends!

This worked great on all 5 of my pets, 3 cats & 2 dogs. I received this as a present from a friend who had gotten a great deal on it. I had been wanting to buy a Furminator for some time but found it to be too costly. It's worth the money though getting a deal is always more fun.

Love, love,love this tool! We have 2 dogs and our Labrador retriever sheds like crazy. This product takes out so much hair,it's unbelievable. The only drawback to this product is that I usually have to use it in the back yard so the hair doesn't go everywhere in the house. It is well worth the money and I was lucky enough to find it in Costco, so it wasn't as pricey as it would have been somewhere else. If you have animals that shed, this is the tool to use.
