They are sturdy and perfectly shaped to accompany even the heaviest of dips (think loaded Mexican seven layer dip, cream cheese dip thick with sage sausage and Ro*tel, thick and creamy French onion dip), make tasty edible spoons for chilies and soups, and can be used like mini tortilla bowls for fun and creative appetizers (like mini avocado-and-chicken taco salad bowls). The ingredients list is surprisingly simple--just corn, vegetable oil, and salt--which makes these a fairly feel-good snack to serve others and myself for those times when kale chips just won't do.
