I received my SheSpeaks Ghiradelli Chocolate package the other day. I opened the bag, gave one to my boyfriend and gave one to myself to try them out. He enjoyed it and I really enjoyed it! I don't always purchase Ghiradelli chocolate because I find some of their flavors are hit or miss for me, plus if I'm in the store and I'm going for what's familiar, I tend to gravitate towards that. These chocolates, the Milk & Truffle variety are VERY good! The chocolate has a slight bite with the outside shell, but is soft and smooth. It literally melts in your mouth and is something you can savor bite by bite. It has a very nice flavor, the inner flavor giving the illusion of a truffle. What I really liked about this chocolate was it had no aftertaste. I find sometimes with chocolates after you?re done chewing, you get that, mildly funky even waxy taste in your tongue. You don't get that with this at all! But what's great is these remind me of an old school chocolate my mom used to give me once in a while ? a milk chocolate ice cube candy. Serving size on this is 3, but I only ate one and was satisfied with that. This will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth!

I'm not much of a chocolate lover compared to most people, but these squares are definitely a treat - even for me. I love how they crumble, but still melt the instant they touch your tongue. That's a perfect chocolate to me. I have to say that the image of the truffle filling pouring out on the bag isn't very accurate. I found the filling to to be an almost identical consistency to the chocolate itself - soft but not gooey at all. No matter - they were still delicious!

The chocolate is VERY smooth and delicious, however, I think it is a bit too chocolatey for my taste. I would prefer the caramel filling or a different flavor than the truffle. Overall, great candy!

I just got my chocolates today. Even though I am more a fan of dark chocolate, these were great!

great but super sweet love them. not to good for your waist but moderation and its a great cheet

I was so excited to receive my package of chocolate today. It was the only chocolate I got for Valentines Day! Shame on my husband but oh well, moving on. I have to admit that I am a dark chocolate kind of gal. I don't require so much sweetness in my chocolates. With having said that, I still enjoyed the Ghirardelli Milk and Truffle squares. You can tell that the chocolate is good quality and I like that they are packaged individually for on the go treats. Again though, would have preferred dark chocolate.

For milk chocolate aficionados - this might be a really good treat. I found it to be a bit too sweet and the outer chocolate to be too soft. However I loved the texture of the inside 'truffle' part and would love to try the dark chocolate variety now.

I let everyone in my family try the Milk and Truffle flavor after we received the sample in the mail. Everyone really enjoyed their treat, but my oldest son (age 5) thought that it was weird that the truffle kinda spilled out of the bar! I prefer solid chocolate also, so it must be where he gets it from. The flavor was very good, just a personal preference to not have the gushy bits even if they are totally yummy :)

The Milk & Chocolate squares were a tasty chocolate explosion. The chocolate was rich and the filling was flavorful. One square was enough to fulfill my chocolate craving. They are rich so eating more than one at a time wasn't an option.

I gave these chocolates to my husband for valentines day. He loves chocolate. He prefers dark chocolate over milk, but he enjoyed these wonderful chocolate squares. He ate them and they were good, very soft. I think that they would be better if they were made in dark chocolate.

I'm not the biggest fan of milk chocolate, but I LOVE truffles and I LOVE Ghirardelli! So good, it melted in my mouth. Came while I was having a bad week, so I pushed up my daily chocolate indulgence from night to right after lunch. Or, should I say, added it?? :)

I know most people seem to be in absolute LOVE with these chocolates, and while I do think they're yummy and was appreciative of the opportunity to receive them, I don't think they're the BEST chocolate I've ever had. Someone mentioned there was a dark chocolate truffle out there...that might be more of my taste. Either way, this was a great Valentine's Day "present" to come home to! (And really, it's Ghirardelli...I've never had anything made by them that was nasty....)
