Pie comes out perfect golden brown edges and no foil to waste!!

This is a very handy gadget. It is easy to use and saves your pie crust edges from overcooking. No longer have to cut tin foil and place around the edges of the pie. Just place this ring on pie and bake as directed. I give it a thumbs up for sure.

This is definitely one of my can't live without products absolutely love it!!

makes baking a breeze and so much easier. I don't have to cut foil strips anymore and I have the perfect pie and its so easy to use.

This is sooo much better then having to cut aluminum foil strips to cover the edges.It's a lot faster too. Plus the juices won't come spilling out.

I really like the concept of this product and the Pampered Chef version is really good. However, I think it is a little flimsy and if could be made stronger would work better. Overall, I do recommend.

I'm only giving this 3 stars because it does not fit the pie plate I got from pampered chef but it is a wonderful idea

I've owned these pie crust shields for quite a few years and I really do like them...it's so nice not having to "sculpt" tin foil! They fit wonderfully on my Pyrex pie plates. My only complaint would be that they are fairly flimsy so I have to be careful washing and storing them.

I have used this product for over a year now and luuuuuuuv it mine is not bendable it is sturdy it fits my pie plates both the metal and glass ones it is alittle too big for the small foil pans

I am not very impressed with this. I purchased two and was very excited as I make a lot of pies during the holiday season and the foil thing sucks. If you are not using a Pampered Chef pie plate the ring does not fit well. When I lay it on a unbacked pie I have to play with it to cover most of the crust. Just last night I used the ring on a "cheated" pie I bought and half the crust came out burnt because of how it lay. I have to disagree with a another review. I believe this is flimsy one of mine is slightly bent, I have stored this nicely but somehow it is still bent plus, it feels like you can fold it in half very easily. Overall, not impressed at all save your money and get one that is cheaper or stick to the foil method.

The Pampered Chef pie plate and Crust shield are wonderful. They are not thin tinny things, they're serious business, and they work like serious business. I love them both.

Instead of cutting strips, attempting to lay them down and overlap the pie crust, one can just plunk this sucker down and throw it in the oven and become more efficient!
