This product works wonders in my homemade spaghetti sauce. It's not too overpowering of flavor. Melds well with all the other ingredients. Although I haven't tried it on its own, like grilling it per-say.

Love this sweet italian sausage!!! It enhances many of my dishes, my favorite way to use it is to add some sweetness to spaghetti squash!!! This is a hit with my family every time!

My husband and daughter enjoyed sweet italian sausage sandwiches with grilled onion and peppers, classic "fair food". I am still waiting to hear back from the website as to what are the "spices" listed on the lable before I can eat any. The customer service is very timely, I received a reply to my query within 24 of my email, which impressed me very much, but further research was needed, so I am still waiting. Sage causes me to get migraines, so caution is needed. My daughter and husband are going to try the hot sausage on pizza tonight.

I made an Italian style lentil and sausage stew with the sweet sausage. It was so good. The sausage has great flavor and good texture. Cant wait to try it in another recipie.

Loved this sweet italian sausage. Used it in a brunch casserole with eggs and cheese, and it was YUMMO!

I purchased this product for the first time last week. I cooked rigatoni noodles and added sauce and then I added the cooked sausage. It is delicious! It was difficult to stop eating the sliced sausage, as I was adding it to the noodles and sauce. I would definitely buy this product again. Our family of four absolutely loved it. I am going to purchase some of the other varieties as well so I can play with the varying tastes.

Our family loves sausage and really enjoyed the Johnsonville Sweet Italian in our favorite basil, rigatoni dish. I must admit it did have some fat in it and would really love the fennel in a powder form instead of the seeds. My kids don't like the fennel seeds, but love the taste of the herb. But overall it was a nice quick midweek supper for our family.

I used the recipe - Italian Sausage and Pepper Medley - I had expected it to be much heavier in taste than it was - delicious! The peppers were very crisp (which I like) and the addition of the canned tomatoes gave enough additional flavor and moisture to the dish that this was hit with everyone at dinner. (I served it with a side of brown rice with pecans)

Worked well as an alternative to polish sausage and we still loved it in a hotdog bun.

Yum! This is one of favorites on the grill.

I loved using this type of sausage as well as the recipes I found on the Johnsonville website. One of our new favorites is the sweet italian pasta toss recipe. This is the first I have used sweet sausage and we like it and have started adding it to many old recipes.

It added life to my baked rigatoni! Its now become a family favorite.

I really enjoyed this sausage! I used it in spaghetti sauce (a favorite around my house) and was surprised that it was much less greasy than I anticipated. The flavor is great and very kid-friendly. I also browned it and mixed it with ziti, zuchinni, and Philly Italian cooking creme....YUM! My four year old kept picking through the noodles looking for more sausage. I plan to incorporate it into many more quick and easy meals.

Excellant for spaghetti - not to strong but very flavorful!

I often use Giada's "Everyday Pasta" cookbook. To give many of her dishes more protein, i cook this up & add it at the end before serving. It's very good. It was a little sweeter than I prefer, though.
