Absolutely hilarious. We watch it every Christmas as a family. Clean enough humor for the kids to watch, but some hilarious innuendos thrown in that only the adults will get!

I used to enjoy watching this movie every year around Christmas with my family while growing up. Now my kids love to watch this movie just as much as I did. I think their favorite part is when he rides the metal sled!

More laughs than any other movie This Christmas classic is the funniest of them all. I introduced my husband to this movie and he's not really into comedies. Well, since then he asks to watch this in order to have a real hoot and holler - even in the middle of summer. When we watch at night, we have to try not to wake the kids with outbursts!

its okay i guess more for kids

This may be a major "that's us" movie for some families but for me it doesn't catch, it's funny the first 2 maybe 4 times but deffinately not a yearly movie for me. My feince on the other hand thinks it should be -.-; but I'd rather this than his other christmas movie.

My husband and I love this comedy and actually own it! We love watching it every christmas season - usually on TV. This past season we started watching it with the kids and I finally realized that the DVD version has a LOT of cursing in it and adult humor - yes, I know it is meant to be that way and makes the movie absolutely hillarious - the only reason I gave 3 stars is that it really is not "family friendly" - I don't recommend young kids watching it.

Lots of silliness. Very very early 80's comedy. It's a traditional watch on Christmas for my in-laws but I can take it or leave it. It's fun to see young Jimmy Galecki, though. I always thought he was adorable.

The Vacation series are all pretty hilarious... This is a must at Christmas if you are looking for a mindless laugh to escape the holiday horror.

The first National Lampoon movie was refreshing, funny. And then there were more. The Christmas one was by far the stupidest, the least well-acted, and a waste of time and money.
