This is just a great product for someone like me who was always missing the rinse cycle. Thanks so so much for saving me time, and helping out with the water bill lol. Have already went through two of these. Will buy more if I need to.

Being that I have recently acquired an older model washer and drier, I am so glad that I kept my Downy Ball. I never have any issues with the product, and it works right every time. My clothes come out of the wash smelling clean and fresh without and hard reactions from the Downy. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Loved this but I have a washer now that doesn't release the liquid softeners till its time. Downy used to have another set of fabric softeners too, the one I liked was blue back in 2001 and it would make the entire house smell like clean laundry, I loved that stuff!!! The smell was amazing but haven seen it in a long time now :(

I love the Downey ball. It is so easy to use; you just fill it and drop it in. You don't have to remember to go and put your softner in.

The Downy Ball is a staple in our house. If not, no one would ever get to the rinse cycle! I have had mine for probably 5 years now and not a problem with it and it goes through at least 10 loads of laundry per week. For the lady that notice Downy on her clothes from the ball, I have always put the downy in the ball and then filled the ball the remainder of the way with water and that way when it opens, it will not be full strength hitting your clothing because I have heard of some balls not opening up until the final spin cycle. The should cure any of that!

I have had success using the Downy ball. I typically skip liquid softener since I do not like to wait for the rinse cycle. But the Downy ball makes it easy for mom's like me who want the most for the least amount of time and money. I can fill it, toss it in with the load in the beginning and forget about it. Occassionally the ball does not opem but it works perfectly the majority of the time.

I've had my Downy ball for years now and haven't had a single problem. It works great.

Before I got a washer with a bult in dispenser I used this thing religiously. The only thing I didn't like about it was that water would get trapped in it after it opened. Otherwise, this product was great and if I didn't have a bult in dispenser I would still be using it.

I love this product as I am a liquid fabric softener user and hate trying to catch the rinse cycle! Once in a while the ball won't open as it should, other than that it's GREAT!!

now with newer washing machines, they practically make the downy ball extinct... but it had a good run when it first hit...

The first time I used it the ball came open but the times after that it didnt. Pretty sure I was just sleep deprived at the time haha! Great product and easy to use :)
