I assumed this product would be like taking bleach to your hair, then having to tone it and such. Although it was harsh on my hair since it's really fine, the color turned out very nice! I did streaks and the awesome thing was, you couldn't see obvious chunky streaks which is a good thing to me, it blended so well and the highlights were super shiny. I didn't have to tone my hair either. The paper instructions were to the point, I'm usually confident coloring my own hair, and even though the brush was a bit awkward at first, once you put enough product in it things start to come together. I do wish I had watched the video demonstration beforehand, would have help A LOT! All together I would defiantly use this again and again, and as an all over color too. Beautiful hair color.

I was really excited to try this product. My hair is blonde, but has gotten darker than I would like. I normally get professional highlights, but wanted to try this product as it would be much less expensive to do it myself. It was pretty easy to use, but I think I would still prefer to have a professional do my highlights.

I had my mom come over to help me apply this product to my hair. Well, when we added the powder it did not mix well at all. We continued with the process and added the third ingredient into the bottle which thinned it out a bit, but not enough to make anything come out of the bottle. My mom was able to squeeze out enough for one application and the bottle became clogged again. I decided that the possibility of having my hair ruined because the bottle was so clogged was not worth the risk so I threw it away. I was really disappointed and was hoping for a great product. Luckily, I had some L'oreal Feria at home to fix the mishap.

Although it is often difficult to apply highlighting to areas other than the front of the head, Loreal has provided a great application comb in Glam Lights. Taking my time with the back, I was able to achieve consistent highlighting. The product is straightforward and easy to use. The actual coloring is fantastic and my hair felt great afterward. Highlights looked sun-kissed, natural and shiny. I am looking forward to adding this great product to my hair coloring regimen. Thanks!

I was super excited to try the Loreal Glam Lights for free, especially since it's a product I may normally look past. The instructions were very easy to follow and detailed. I thought the comb was fairly simple to use although my hair did get stuck in it several times. I do have thicker hair. It took about 20 minutes to get all of the hair highlighted that I wanted. I let it sit the full recommended time. Thebafter results were pretty great aside from a few small out of place areas. I will recommend it to other women and I will use it again.

I was so excited when I received my GlamLights home highlight kit to try for free from SheSpeaks. I watched the video, which was a little intimidating. I've been coloring my hair at home for 20 years, but highlights are a whole new world. In applying it, I found several things. First, while it was easy to apply to the lengths of hair that can be easily seen, it is quite difficult to reach the back of my long hair. Second, I should have waited until my kids weren't home, as it is difficult to move around without smearing the color out of the combed lines in which it was applied. Last, the highlights resulting from treatment are natural looking, meaning if you are looking for a major color change (which I wasn't), look elsewhere. Overall, with a few extra hands and the right expectations, this is a pretty good product.

The only problem I had with it, was the strong scent. I've been going to the salon and doing my own hair for years and this is one of the best products I've used at home. I was excited to try the L'Oreal Paris Superior PreferenceŽ GL90 Light Blond to Medium Blond as I love having highlight in my hair but don't have the time to go tot he salon. I have long straight fine hair, so the process wasn't difficult. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Application is quick and easy, no mess. I rinsed my hair after 25 minutes and ended up with beautifully sun kissed hair. I like the sunny, natural color of highlights and how good they looked! My hair feel so soft and good after using all the products. I would definitely recommend!

Received my GlamLights hair dye i loved ut i got some pertty sexy high lights i hope will last a few mouths

I think this product is ok. I love the idea of having this type of application, however I did have a difficult time getting it onto my hair perfectly. I also noticed how easy it was to somehow smear the hair dye while waiting for it to dye my hair. I would honestly rather sticknow with the annoying cap that you pull hair through because it is harder to mess that up. As for the color itself, I can't say that it doesn't work. It didn't work on my hair. I don't think it was because the dye was not good. I have red hair and have always had issues finding dye that works on my hair. I usually have to leave the dye on my hair for much longer than recommended just to get slight results. This dye was no different, but again, that's probably just because my hair doesn't dye easily. Bottom line, I would say this is a great product for someone that can be perfect in applying it and sit perfectly still while waiting to wash it out.

I usually just use an all-over color when coloring my hair from a box, as I always figured it would be easier to apply than highlights. After receiving a box of Glam Lights, I have a different opinion. The instructions were very clear, and the applicator was easy to use. After a few strokes, I got the hang of it, and the rest of my hair was easy. The color was subtle, but looked great. It looked more natural than I thought it would, which was great!

Received Loreal Glam Lights for free from Shespeaks for me to review. First off this product is very intimidating and I have been dying my hair for years. This was my first attempt at giving myself highlights though. I only did the front pieces because I didn't feel I would be able to apply it to the back of my hair evenly and they came out decent. The product smells and is kind of hard to apply with the given comb. It probably would have been easier with someone helping. I may purchase this and give it another shot.

This product was just okay. It was easy to mix and get the product ready to use. Because I have long hair, I really needed him (specifically with the hair in the back because I could not reach it). I enlisted the help of my husband since he was around at the time. I highlighted (using the included brush) the hair I could reach and then had my husband do the rest. I left the product on for the amount of time on the box. After washing it off, I did not notice a huge difference between the color or the product and the color of my hair.
