I have to say that I was pretty impressed with this product. I have naturally blonde hair, and I dye it a lighter blonde. I have always wanted highlights, however I wasn't sure how they would work with light blonde hair. When I tried this, I had recently colored my hair to a natural light blonde. I didn't want my highlights to be screaming blonde, so I read the directions and decided to leave the product on my hair for 25 minutes. I was very happy with the results, but wished that I had left it on longer. The brush that they include with this is very helpful, and it doesn't make the highlights look like solid lines, but more brushed on with a natural look. Probably in 2 months when I do my next full head color, I am going to be purchasing this again, and re-doing my highlights. This time I'm going to leave the product in longer and really add more depth and dimension into my hair.

I have naturally curly strawberry blonde hair, so I was worried that the highlights would not show up, but they did and I love the results. Very pleased with my highlights, they were noticable with a very shiny gleam. I was afraid because I already have dyed hair that higlights on top might be too drying, but they came out silky and my hair actually feels like it has a little more body. I liked the applicator it was quite easy to use. The only thing was the picture on the box itself, the before/after, did not really do this product justice. On the box the before/after difference was so subtle I might not have chosen to buy this if I saw it in the store, I realize it's for blonde hair already so the difference isn't expected to be too dramatic, but slightly more contrast in the picture might serve the product better.

All I have to say is WOW!!!!!!!! I have such dark hair that usually when I dye my hair, it doesn't lighten up very much. However, with the L'Oreal Paris Glam Lights my hair went from dark brown to blonde in a matter of minutes. These are suppose to be used as highlights, but I used it as an all over hair color. I will say if you do this to be careful, that you may have to go back and touch it up to get the desired color. If you're doing highlights though like it's meant for, then it is super easy and you won't need to touch it up or have splotches. I love the little comb it comes with. I squeeze the formula into the comb and then comb it into my hair. It puts the color exactly where you want it. This doesn't even begin to compare to any other hair dye, including some of the one's L'Oreal has out now. It works and it works great! I also like that compared to others (that don't work but half way) this does not burn your hair one bit! As always though, I would recommend doing an allergy test. I will say though I have very sensitive skin, so I was impressed I had no issues with it whatsoever. I would HIGHLY recommend L'Oreal Paris Glam Lights, it will make your hair look amazing and make you feel beautiful!

I love Loreal, this product was very easy to use and my hair turned out very natural looking. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wanted natural looking highlights!

I enjoyed applying these glam lights! I found it much easier to use this comb and apply highlights than using an all over color. The scent, even though it had a bleach powder, was not too strong. The color of the highlights was darker than I expected but it ae out looking fairly natural and pretty.

i recieved this product from she speaks the box seems really appealing and with just having a baby i was ready to dye my hair therefore i had help my sister said the container was too tiny to mix and the smell well it was something we should of thought about before starting with kids in the house in the winter time. second the color was amazing on the box and i chose the wrong one i have dark hair but afterwards it turned out great perfect highlights not as light as i wanted them to be but worked accoridng to the box thanks loreal and also she speaks for anamazing product to test and try

Overall, I think this product is a great alternative to salon highlighting. I have used many homes dyes and highlight kits and this is probably the only one that I was satisfied with the results. I was nervous, because recently with home dyes, I have been having bad results. The process was easy and the comb was easy to work with. I had some difficulties seeing the back of my head to get the highlights back there, basically did it blind. I think if I left the color on too long, it would have looked crooked. I only left it on the minimum amount of time and was pleased with the color I got. Not too dramatic, but noticeable. I had a ton leftover, which seemed like a waste to me. I know from previous home highlight kits to just go over it once so you don't have a ton of lines everywhere, so I just threw away the leftover. So, overall I had a pleasant experience with this kit and I would buy it again.

I received Glam Lights to try out from SheSpeaks. I usually alternate salon and home hair coloring and highlighting. This had its pros and cons. The smell was strong and it stayed with my hair the rest of the day. It was pretty easy to get even highlights with the comb, but sometimes the formula was a bit gloopy and splattered on the counter. The end result was great. I really like the highlights. And although they are not of the same quality as salon highlights, it's pretty darn close.

I usually just use an all-over color when coloring my hair from a box, as I always figured it would be easier to apply than highlights. After receiving a box of Glam Lights, I have a different opinion. The instructions were very clear, and the applicator was easy to use. After a few strokes, I got the hang of it, and the rest of my hair was easy. The color was subtle, but looked great. It looked more natural than I thought it would, which was great!

The good: - the application brush is very simple/straightforward to use -the highlight effects can be subtle or dramatic depending upon your preferences (I used a light hand when applying and only kept it on for 25 minutes before washing it out) -the shampoo included in the box is fantastic (moisturizing without weighing my hair down, which is quite a feat) The bad: -the bottle clogged constantly, and I think I was pretty fastidious about mixing it properly -keeping the gloves on while washing your hair isn't the easiest thing to do The end result: I'd just colored my hair prior to using the highlights and my hair was orange-ish (new color that I won't be trying again!)...I've uploaded a before & after photo that I took in the same room/same lighting/same section of my hair (no filters, of course, in the interest of being totally fair for the review), and after the highlights, that brassy color is gone from all of my hair - not just the highlighted parts. To me, that's worth buying all of the boxes of highlights. I'm not sure if I care about having highlights, but that's personal preference. If you like highlights, this is a great option, just be prepared to deal with the clogged bottle.

I was excited to try the L'Oreal Paris Superior PreferenceŽ GL90 Light Blond to Medium Blond as I love having highlight in my hair but don't have the time to go tot he salon. I have long straight fine hair, so the process wasn't difficult. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Application is quick and easy, no mess. I rinsed my hair after 25 minutes and ended up with beautifully sun kissed hair. I like the sunny, natural color of highlights and how good they looked! My hair feel so soft and good after using all the products. I would definitely recommend!

I received the Loreal Glam Lights from SheSpeaks to try out for free. I thought this product worked really well with my hair and gave me the color that I wanted. The only problem I had with it, was the strong scent. I've been going to the salon and doing my own hair for years and this is one of the best products I've used at home. The comb was pretty easy to use and made even highlights. I really enjoyed this experience, thanks to SheSpeaks for the opportunity to test a great product.

I was so excited when I received my GlamLights home highlight kit to try for free from SheSpeaks. I watched the video, which was a little intimidating. I've been coloring my hair at home for 20 years, but highlights are a whole new world. In applying it, I found several things. First, while it was easy to apply to the lengths of hair that can be easily seen, it is quite difficult to reach the back of my long hair. Second, I should have waited until my kids weren't home, as it is difficult to move around without smearing the color out of the combed lines in which it was applied. Last, the highlights resulting from treatment are natural looking, meaning if you are looking for a major color change (which I wasn't), look elsewhere. Overall, with a few extra hands and the right expectations, this is a pretty good product.
