I am pretty happy with this product. It was easy to use and the directions clearly explained what I was supposed to do. It turned out pretty well for being the first time I tried to color my hair.

I am used to doing my own hair. The instructions were simple as can be . I am a mom a 2 small kids and time is always a factor. I wasn't a long process at all. I have curly hair and it came out great. Just a subtle change to my hair but I would definitely use again

Received the product and it didn't disappoint. I left it on the maximum amount of time because my hair is quite dark and the highlights were very noticeable in a good way. I loved it and would recommend to others.

I was lucky enough to be a part of the product review panel for... L'Oreal Paris Superior PreferenceŽ Glam Lights GL50 Medium Brown to Dark Brown. I had used all over color (to hide those dang gray hairs) right after I found out I was chosen so that when the package came it would have a uniform canvas to start with. I did not do a strand test as I have used highlights before,but I did keep it on the longest time because it was slightly orange when I the timer went off. The tool was easy to use even though I was afraid it would fall out (it didn't). I have curly hair that I waffle between straightening and keeping the curls so the pictures are all natural.I saw an old friend later in the week and she liked my hair,thought it was natural ,due to the sun here in Fl. I liked this product,I will use again to transition me from winter to spring/summer. Thank you for letting me be apart of this!!!!

I received this product free for a SheSpeaks campaign. I am used to highlighting other friends' hair, so using this on myself was a new concept to me! The instructions were easy to follow, although the brush provided was a little tricky to use on my thick hair. I would recommend just giving some color to the ends of the hair instead of trying to get even color at the roots, because it is tricky to apply evenly.

The product was very easy to use and apply and the results were just as I anticipated. There was a beautiful, subtle highlighting effect that looked very classy and natural. The highlighted areas did not look harsh or fake. I was thrilled to have a salon-quality highlighting experience from the comfort of my own home. This product is perfect for anyone looking to update their hair color in a very glamorous way on a modest budget.

I was picked to try & review L-Oreal Paris Superior Preference Glam Lights Medium Brown to Dark Brown, when i first received the box i was a little nervous because i had never given myself highlights before. I watched the video & read the directions carefully & went for it! It was very simple & straight forward, as long as you do what the directions say you will have beautifully highlights. I let it stay in my hair for the max of 45 minutes & was very happy with the color it provided. The only thing i recommend, if you can get some one to help you, you should. it makes it a lot easier & makes sure you get even highlights!

I did not like this product. I was excited to the package, when I opened the box, it was very straight forward and seemed simple enough. However, my hair did not react well to the product, and the high lights came out very wrong. I had my hair color re-done and am very happy with it now.

I received a free box of L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference Glam Lights Medium Brown to Dark Brown to try through Shespeaks in exchange for my honest review. This was my very first time using any sort of hair coloring/dye. Previously, I hesitated to use hair color due to the chemicals in it, but thought I would give this a try. I found that once I read the instructions through a few times, everything was easy to mix together and get ready for use. I liked the brush well enough, but it was a little difficult to get the same amount of hair coloring on each of the hair strands. I probably went over some sections more than others :) On the whole, I had a lot of fun trying the Glam Lights, and liked this product a lot. The only down side was the chemical smell. I found it to be rather overwhelming especially as I was applying the coloring directly to my hair. Overall, if the smell would not bother you, I would recommend this for getting nice, blended highlights.

I don't think the product works well for those with dark hair even though it states that on the package itself. I wish the highlights were more noticeable

Tried this out the other night. I needed something quickly as I had a party to go to and wanted my hair to look nice. It worked well and blended well with my hair color. Would recommend to others.

I was thrilled to be chosen to try this product! I often use all-over hair color to cover my gray hairs (not too many, but enough to bother me!) but decided to try Glamlights instead this time. The instructions were easy to understand, and I enjoyed the video on how to apply it. I have thin, fine, straight hair, so I was easily able to use the nifty tool that was included. I was careful to not put too much at the root, and made sure that I did a strand test ahead of time so I knew exactly what the color outcome would be. It was easy to use, and I like the highlight look better than one boring color. I felt like I was enhancing my hair, not covering up my hair! Love it!!

I was really excitited about trying this color. I thought this would give my hair a fresh look for Spring. However, once I started mixing up the color and started to color my hair, I was really disappointed with the tool they provided to apply the color to your hair. It did not provide complete and even coverage to your hair, especially if you have incredibly thick and long locks, like I do. Finally, when all was said and done, color washed out, there was no noticeable diffference in my hair from before to after. I was throughly disappointed. I am not new to coloring. I am sharp and smart and I know how to follow directions and followed each and every direction included on the instructions to a tee and there was still no noticeably highlights to my hair. User error or manufacturer error, I doubt I would color my hair with this brand again. Thank you.

This was my first time coloring my hair in about 9 years and I absolutely love the highlights. The color I tried was medium to dark brown and the instructions were easy to understand. I was scared to color my hair at since I've never done it but they came out perfect I am happy with the color and I will definitely recommend this product and purchase it for future highlights.

I received the new L'Oreal Glam Lights for medium to dark hair in the mail from SheSpeaks. I was really excited to test this product on my dark hair, but was also anxious not knowing how it would turn out or if it would be damaging. Due to this uncertainty, I decided to apply conservatively and left it on for the minimum time, 25 minutes. I thought the comb that was provided was pretty easy to use and directions were very clear. I am happy with the way the Glam Lights turned out, as they were subtle and natural looking, which is what I wanted.
