I absolutely LOVE paint pot! Gives me the little extra edge i'm looking for. I use it in the corners of my eyes almost like an eyeliner i suppose, but its great.

In general I always use a primer for eye shadow. The MAC paint pot does a good job of eye shadow lasting all day with no smudges. Downfalls: you have to use your own tool to apply or just use a finger I feel as though there is a better primer out there.

I have this in Bare Study and I love it. I use it as a primer and it makes my eyeshadows stay all day. I haven't had any problems with it and I'm in love with the color!

I love love love this product as an aspiring artist this is one of my must have products its very long lasting and it makes a great base I havent experience any creasing with this .. My favorite paint pot is painterly it definitely makes my colors more vibrant .

Mac has great products if you have the cash to spend. But this product is #1 if you have the money to splurge. I first discovered the paint pot in 2007 and it is a must have since! My eye shadow stays on all day using this as a base!

MAC is high end makeup store , but it's so worth the money! Love these paint pots! :)

I'd say MAC is worth the extra money. They're a quality brand and their foundation is the best!

The only paint pot I've ever tried is the one in Painterly and I love it. One small jar lasts forever. Most beauty gurus on youtube swear by this stuff and now I know why. It covers all the imperfections (oiliness, discoloration, redness) on the eyelid giving a great base for your shadows. My shadows do last longer when using this versus not using any sort of primer. This is my go to for the summer and Urban Decay's Primer potion for colder months as this does a better job withstanding oiliness.

Mac is the best make-up around!!

I really wanted to like this, but the creamy formula would lead to my eyeshadow sliding around. I know that people use this as an eyeshadow primer, but I would not advise it if you have oily eyelids like myself. I also have monolids, which can be tricky for working with creamy products. The paint pot would leave a darker line of eyeshadow where my crease folds in.

I'm a Mac fan long lasting blends in well very versatile

Amazing product. Blends well in eyelids.

From the MAC website: A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners. I love this stuff! Use it as a base for your eyeshadow and it won't crease and it will last all day. I wear a glittery shade so I have the option to only wear the Paint Pot or add more shimmer if I want. Highly recommend!
