This was so moving and to know what it was like . i show it to my son . he like the movie ,he was so touch by it. He wanted to watch it over and over again. Good movie to watch

I truly love and respect how much they showed of the racist culture of the South. I also very much respect how they depicted slaves in the most true to history view. Slaves did not just escape. They fled, they were scared, and they knew their punishment. I also love how it shows just how quickly a man/woman of color could be captured in that time period. Truly a wonderful, historically accurate, portrayal of slavery.

I read the book first and immediately got hooked. The movie was just as amazing. It is a very powerful film and I can't wait to watch it again.
