I was not a fan of this product. I was super excited to receive it and began using it that evening. The packaging is awesome and I would love it if this bottle was reusable! However, it did nothing to improve my super fair skin. It often burned when I applied it (I also use retin a every third night and argan oil to moisturize) and I found that applying foundation soon after (30 mins) Dream Tone resulted in my makeup looking HORRIBLE! It caused the foundation to streak, clump up and look awful. Since stopping Dream Tone, this also stopped. I used it consistently for 4 weeks; I stopped due to the burning and how awful it looked under foundation.

To quote reviewer "WVUAsh" above me, "I found that applying foundation soon after (30 mins) Dream Tone resulted in my makeup looking HORRIBLE! It caused the foundation to streak, clump up and look awful." I couldn't agree with this user more! I had similar results after applying my Clinique foundation. At $98/bottle, I had really, really high expectations for this product. However, I do not see a difference after using this product consistently for 4 weeks. Since everyone's experience is unique to them, I can't say whether or not I would recommend this product. The price point does leave it pretty much unaffordable to the most ladies I know. I will give props to the packaging. I like the pop-up design of the bottle. It made the product easily portable, and I didn't have to worry about a rogue lid floating around my bathroom.

I will say that this product did not really work for me. It caused my sensitive skin to break out and look red. It also felt like it was burning my skin. I definitely would not spend the $$ on this product.

I tried. I tried it as soon as the bottle arrived -- love the bottle and how it twists to open. Very little is needed to get good coverage. But even using it twice a day and every day since receiving it, I have not seen any difference. My face has a variety of skin tones and large pores so I was really hoping this would work to even out the skin tones and diminish the appearance of those pores ... nothing. I will say that I think my face feels smoother but appearance-wise, no change. So encouraging anyone to go out and spend that much money for it? No, I can't do that and remain honest.

I have just starting using my product. It has been three days, so I don't see results I plan to take a picture today to use as a before. After 4 weeks I will take another to compare to the before. Hopefully I will see good results.

The product smells really good and goes on nice and smooth. I am not 100% sure what is is suppose to be doing to my face but it feels nice and my skin feels refreshed. I haven't noticed any breakouts from the product either which I was concerned about.

Feels amazing going on, very smooth and hydrating and it doesn't leave a greasy film. But the smell of this product is HORRIBLE. It smells like old women and fake roses. It is just really, really strong. I also didn't yet notice any fading of dark spots or evening of my skin tone but I will continue to use it to see if anything changes. The bottle is lovely, really looks nice but it is expensive. Not sure if I'd try it again but will reevaluate after I finish the rest of the bottle.

I love the bottle first of all. The smell is a little over powering at first, but not a bad fragrance. Just strong. This made my skin feel very smooth. I have horrible dark spots and uneven tones. However, after 4 days of using it, the out breaks were horrible. I continued to use it thinking maybe it was just a phase, but they just kept getting worse. I had to stop using it. My skin cleared up. Just not the right product for me. :(

I got the Lancome DreamTone free to try. The bottle is beautiful and I was hoping the contents would work as described. I tried the Lancome Dream Tone for several weeks. I have several dark spots on my face and I made sure to take before photos. I really hoped my spots would fade but after trying the product for several weeks, I noticed no change at all. However, that wasn't even the most disappointing thing. The Lancome Dream Tone has way too strong of a scent for me. At $98.00 a bottle, I expected it to be amazing. I have tried products that cost way less money that worked as well or better. What I did like about the product is that it felt smooth and it took a small amount to cover my entire face. My skin felt smooth after applying the product though it did make my face itch a bit which I think was more from the scent than from the product. I did not break out in a rash. I have used Lancome products before and I generally like them but the Lancome DreamTone had mediocre results for me and wouldn't be worth the price in the future.

DreamTone have me a very smooth texture, but that was the only benefit that I found after using it for a month, twice a day, under moisturiser. I didn't see any change in skin pigmentation. I would have love to have seen an evening out of my skin tone. The bottle is beautiful and the serum feels great on my skin. Hoping after further use to see more dramatic results.

I loved the smell of this product and how smooth it went on my skin. However, I already use a great moisturizer, avoid the sun and have taken care of my skin since my early 20's. Since this product goes under moisturizer it added a step to my normal beauty routine that seemed a little unnecessary at the end of the 4 weeks. My skin had no visible changes to it (I took picture before and at the end of the 4 weeks). I wish that I had been able to see a visible difference like a lot of other reviewers did. Maybe if I didn't already use moisturizer with retinol etc than I would have seen a bigger difference.

I was excited to try Lancome DreamTone. I love the packaging--very chic. The scent is also pleasant and not too strong. However, in terms of results in lightening my dark spots, I am not too impressed. At this price point, I am expecting miracles! However, I appreciate the opportunity to test it.

I received Lancome DreamTone from SheSpeaks. I am a fan of Lancome products, so when I first squirted some product on my finger tips, I noticed the Lancome smell. All of their products seem to have the same scent, light, pleasant, and clean. I had to get used to this product as it was made my face much shinier than anything I was used to. Even after I put on my moisturizer and bronzer, it was hard to hide the shine. After a few weeks of using, i didn't not notice a significant change in my skin tone or any sun spots that I do have. They didn't seem to go away or even fade. Not sure it was right for my skin.

I am a member of SheSpeaks and was recently selected to sample DreamTone from Lancôme. I was so excited to try this item being I suffer from uneven skin from acne marks and dark spots. I hate that my skin is so blotchy and uneven and was really hoping for a miracle. I love the smell and the texture of the lotion. It doesn't give me a greasy feeling after using it, just nice and smooth. I have used this product for about three weeks twice a day and haven't really seen much of a difference, which disappointed me. It's expensive and a well known brand name, so I thought for sure this would be the 'one'. I have dark spots on my cheek bones so when I apply makeup it gives me a bit of a muddy appearance. These spots may have faded a tad but overall my complexion is about the same. Hopefully if I use it for a longer period of time I will see more of an improvement.

This product comes in nice attractive packaging. I love the bottle design..impossible to lose the lid. A pump feature allows you use a consistant amount of lotion with each use. The lotion has a subtle, nice smell and is easy to apply. It doesn't leave my face greasy feeling, nor tacky. I do feel like you still need to use a moisturizer (as per instructions as well), as the few times I was noticeably dry. The product has a pinkish/reddish tint to it, and I'm guessing this helps immediately mask some skin imperfections, although I didn't notice a huge difference. I received this product free to test out as a part of the SheSpeaks program. The reason I rated this product a 3 out of 5 stars is due to 1) noticeable results and 2) price. I have been using the product close to 4 weeks now, and I haven't noticed a huge difference. Or really much of a subtle difference either. For the retail price of the product, I would be expecting to see results by now. I will, however, continue to use the product, as it doesn't seem close to empty yet. Hopefully the next few weeks of use will provide the change I was looking for. Otherwise, I think I would get more "bang for my buck" with a laser spa service or trying another brand of spot treatment.
