I read the book and it was a compelling read. Although I figured out the twist in the story, the ending still surprised me and disturbed me. The two main characters, husband and wife, and both non-sympathetic in their own rights. I didn't like either of them in the book, or in the movie adaptations. But I think that works for this piece of fiction. I hope the author writes the next chapter for these two. I need some closure!

Love this book and can't wait to see the movie. Thrilling and hard to put down. Lost some sleep with this one.

A really good book if you like to be guessing until the last page. Great read.

This book didn't seem to be as edgey as I am used to but after reading a lot of reviews I decided to sample it. After the sample, I was hooked and purchased the book. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it and actually made time to continue reading it. It's the first book I have read by this author and I'm glad I didn't pass on it. I have recommended it to my book loving friends.

It took me a little while to get into but I did enjoy the book overall. It playsn with your head a little.

Returned this book for refund. the beginning was slow I gave up.

This book started out slow. I almost gave up on it but I am so glad I didn't! It turned out to be a great book. Once I got past the slow spots it was amazing and I couldn't put it down.

I hated the flip flop between the two characters, but once I was used to it and the plot became interesting, it was an EXCELLENT read!

I dont' usually pick up suspenseful thrillers these days but this had me hook from page 1. Read it in one day because I couldn't put it down. Loved the back and forth between characters. Writing was magnificent. Hung on every word. No lulls in the story. Can't wait until the film to compare it to what I pictured while reading

This book had be guessing until the very end. The plot is so ingeniously spun that sometimes I had to read a page twice. I was horrified and utterly entertained in every chapter.

It took me awhile to get into this book. I frequently became annoyed with both Amy and Nick. I had a hard time believing that two people could be so silent about their unhappiness with each other. Then things started rolling and secrets became revealed and the plot twisted. I will tell you, I suspected the outcome in parts, only because I had heard how CRAZY the twist was. So, sorry, I guess I may have just ruined the twist for you, but hopefully not. Once the story started unraveling and the psychoticness is unleashed, I couldn't stop reading. I will say, I HATED the ending. It leaves you with a whole lot of unanswered questions. Personally, I think it is a lazy way to end a book. Regardless, READ IT!

A great guilty pleasure! Not the typical "girly" book and an absolute "wow"!

Great thriller book. It takes you through all kinds of different suspenseful trails to keep you wondering all the way thru. Great read.

Fantastic book that has you throwing accusations one chapter and then changing your mind the next. Gone Girl is her third book and I have loved the suspense. She keeps you questioning and I can't help but turn the page. Great read!
