A classic A classic, a must see movie. I'm not a big fan of musicals at all but I can watch this movie every year and I'd be ok with that.

For all ages...from 8 months to 108! This movie is the epitome of a classic! Julie Andrews makes one want to have a nanny like her at any age...She allows children to be...well..just kids....and adults..to remember the joy and freedom of just wanting to play!

Hills are alive! I grew up with this movie and always adored the songs. As I got older, I also appreciated the historical aspects, and I learned the real-life story of the Von Trapp family. Excellent family movie!

Family Friendly Classic Movie I've loved this movie since I was a child. It has great music and even my own daughter loves it. Julie Andrews is amazing in everything but this role is perfect for her.

So glad I've finally watched! I have just recently, for the very first time seen "The Sound of Music", I don't know what I was waiting on but wow am I glad I finally watched it. Having been a Julie Andrews fan since I was a child, it was absolutely vital that I see this! It's definitely in the top 3 of my favorite movies! If you yourself, are a fan of Julie Andrews and/or enjoy musicals this is a must see!

One of the classics. Classic movie for any musical lover. The songs get in your head and stay there in the best way possible. Nice romantic\family movie highly recommend for musical enthusiasts.
