All-time favorite! Watched it so many times and own in many different forms. The casts are wonderful, and so is the music. Always good for a family movie night!

For all ages...from 8 months to 108! This movie is the epitome of a classic! Julie Andrews makes one want to have a nanny like her at any age...She allows children to be...well..just kids....and adults..to remember the joy and freedom of just wanting to play!

Hills are alive! I grew up with this movie and always adored the songs. As I got older, I also appreciated the historical aspects, and I learned the real-life story of the Von Trapp family. Excellent family movie!

Family Friendly Classic Movie I've loved this movie since I was a child. It has great music and even my own daughter loves it. Julie Andrews is amazing in everything but this role is perfect for her.

So glad I've finally watched! I have just recently, for the very first time seen "The Sound of Music", I don't know what I was waiting on but wow am I glad I finally watched it. Having been a Julie Andrews fan since I was a child, it was absolutely vital that I see this! It's definitely in the top 3 of my favorite movies! If you yourself, are a fan of Julie Andrews and/or enjoy musicals this is a must see!

I always enjoy popping this movie in on a rainy evening and enjoying this classic. Even though I despise having songs in movies, for some reason these songs don't bother me and I end up singing along (especially Edelweiss) It's also beautiful that it is based on a true story of bringing a family together. v
