It is a bit pricey for ultimately ending up with a stuffed animal, but the whole process of creating and customizing it and seeing the "birth" of a new friend is definitely a special treat that a child should experience at least once. I like how there are special editions for certain holidays, seasons, etc.

My daughter got a gift card to Build a Bear for her second birthday. She LOVED it! The sweet way they took her through the process was fun to watch. My daughter was really into it. She picked a mouse, dressed it in a tu-tu with multicolored sequins, and named her 'Figaro Mouse'. Great fun!

awesome way to get kids involved in something good. They have an amazing variety and I am sure any child will find their perfect bear friend as well as accessories

My daughter is hooked. She went for a friend's birthday and had a lot of fun. She chose a bear, outfit and shoes and we paid the difference. She is carrying with her everywhere. I told her that if she wanted to do it again then she would need to save her money. I don't mind treating her but the prices are so high that it makes it tough to get everything she wants for her bear but we thought this would be a great way to do it. I recommend to a friend if they are ready to treat their child it is a fun experience.

I remember going a few times when I was little. Definitely will take my son when he's older.

My girls love the build a bear store. I take them to make a bear on their birthdays, and they are always excited and give them lots of love throughout the year!

We love build bear took my granddaughter she loves her cat and gave my niece a gift card for her birthday she went wild.

My Brownie Troop earned enough money to go to the Build A Bear Store this year and buy themselves a bear and an outfit. As the leader, I treated them to the Brownie uniform for it to reward them for all of their community service over the past 3 years. They loved the choices in animals, clothes, accessories and the experience of doing this as a group!

My daughter loves this place, but I find it to be a bit pricey. I use this as a special treat.

I took my 3yo daughter here after her first dentist visit since she did such a good job & didn't cry or fight. She loved it & I loved it. They made the experience of creating her new friend a fun one. She created a palace pet cat. I'm trying to convince my husband to let us go back to create the bunny. It is really expensive though, which makes it only good for special occasions.

My kids love build a bear. I take them there every year for their birthday. My oldest is 8 and he still loves getting this present. This is something kids can really use their imagination with. So many possibilities:)

Love this place even after a very expensive 10th birthday party for my daughter. Her sister and two friends also got bears. I also still have the one i made years ago.
