This is a great movie! The acting was phenomenal and it was touching, yet funny at the same time! I great up in Mississippi and this movie is the real thing! My husband really enjoyed it as well! Good date night movie!! Can't go wrong with this one!!

I thought The Help was a nice surprise. Very emotional and entertaining movie. The cast was wll put together and the script was amazing. This is a movie I would watch over and over and reccomend to all my friends.

I really enjoyed this movie. I did not get to see it in the theatre. But my daughter bought and we watched it. It was really good. I enjoyed the story line. It was well written. The actresses in this film were amazing. I plan on getting the novel to read. I enjoy reading books before they become movies but for this one I want to still read the novel. I hope this movie WINS alot at the Oscars. I am one that does not usually keep up with the Oscars either. Thanks for this contest Shespeaks. I have been thinking about getting a Blu-ray player but just haven't had the extra money to get one for my family.

This movie is one of the more poignant movies I have seen in a long time. Viola Davis is a revelation (various award voters take notice) and Octavia Spencer so completely inhabits Minny that I found myself hating that the movie had to end. That said, Emma Stone gives a mature and wholly believable performance as Skeeter. The woman can do so much more than comedy. Go see it; you'll be thinking about it long after you leave the movies.

Excellent feel good movie.

By far one of the best movies of 2011. I read the book before the movie and will have to say that it's probably one of the only movies that's just as good, if not better than, the book. Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Emma Stone are absolutely outstanding. The performance by Bryce Dallas Howard is outstanding. By the end of the movie (just as you are in the book), the audience has nothing but pure hatrid for Hilly Holbrook and loves Minnie's s*&% pie stunt. I think this movie (and it's actresses) should win in every category it's nominated for!

I have yet to read the book, however, the movie was very touching. I didn't actually expect to like it as much as I did. It made me laugh and it definitely made me cry! It inspired me to buy the book (which I'll hopefully have the chance to read soon!!!).

This was a GREAT MOVIE. I love this movie, EXCELLENT cast.

This is definitely a 5 star must see!! Make sure you have some tissues with you! It tugs at the heart and really makes you think of how things you may do affect others. Eye openning!

This is a great movie, which shows a different aspect of life in the 1960s. I have always been intrigued by the depiction of life in the 1960s from television shows like Mad Men, but there are not a lot of African American characters on the show. Even Carla has left the Draper household. This movie shows how some African Americans live in the 1960s, and their emotions, hopes and dreams and ups and downs are captured very well in the movie. I highly recommend it!

This was a great movie .there were moments that were upseting and i felt very sad .and some made you laugh and feel happy a great all around movie! we can learn a lot from.

Awesome movie!!! If you haven't seen it go see it Now!!! Really makes you think about life. Great cast and get your tissues handy from the laughing and crying you will need them!!!

Great movie. The book was better but it was a wonderful film too.

I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to see this movie not just once, but twice. I say blessed because this is the kind of movie that can change lives, open eyes, bring down walls. I say blessed because this is the kind of movie that makes me grateful that I did not live during that time, but makes me even more aware that those 'times' have not completely ended. I say blessed because this movie reminds us all that we should believe in the power of one. One person can make a difference. One person can lead the way. One person can inspire, encourage, triumph. The women in this movie are beautiful, brave, and awe-inspiring. This movie is filled with humor, sadness, and just real, raw emotion. The acting was great. Even more so considering that these women were not, prior to this movie, Oscar-nominate women. In fact, I didn't even recognize many of them. Yet, they are able to come together in this beautiful, unforgettable movie. They are each worthy of the nominations that they have received individually and collectively. I highly recommend that you see the movie, "The Help".

Loved this movie, my husband did too! It's one of the best I've seen in a while. I thought the actors were great!
