I think these are "ok". We only buy these when we don't have a large variety to choose from, but we prefer DiRusso or Bob Evans because they just have better flavor.

I am not one for Italian sausage but johnsonsville sausage has a great mild Italian taste. Not to harsh. Great with pasta!

Although I'm not fond of sausages , my husband on the other hand, is. He loves these things!

Very fennel-y I did not like the fennel flavor in the mild is very strong to me and I would like to see more flavoring other than the fennel flavor!

I used this sausage (not the links but the bulk kind) in a baked ziti with marinara sauce. The family loved it. I was surprised at how tasty the sausage was! The flavor was mild and great for my 2 young children.

I was expecting a little better from Johnsonville. The flavor was good, it had more seeds then my family and I prefer, and instead of slicing easily, it broke into crumbles when I tried to cut it into the sauce. I'm tyring again tonite, so we will see.

I made a Sausage Hoagie with a hoagie bun, provolone cheese and tomato sauce- A very quick meal and it tasted great.

I still love this sausage when I am am making spaghetti. The whole family loves the sausage and it tastes wonderful!! I used the coupons to purchase the sausage with and that really helped!!

I made the sausage and rigatoni as well - loved it, though I am not used to cooking sausage in the casing so I kind of messed up the first attempt:)

Loved this product since it is so versatile. Used the meat for spaghetti and in a bun. Loved by the kids and the hubby which is a big plus.
