We love the Mild Italian Sausage. I made the sausage meatballs and they were wonderful, full of flavor and substance. I followed the directions and baked them in the oven and then cooked them in my own homemade sauce for two hours. I served them over al dente pasta. I will surely make these again and I can't wait to make some other dishes using Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausage. I am sold on these sausages and will continue to use them in the future, great quality and flavor! Question! Should these sausages be in the frozen case or in the fresh meat case? They are in different cases in different stores.

This was very yummy! I used the recipe with the onion, three peppers, tomatoes, and garlic that came with the kit. It was very good, and it was interesting to try something different. I will make sure to post a picture shortly. It was great that the kit came with recipes. I would never have gone out of the box...typically my husband will pick up Italian sausage and grill it. I am now opening our sausage horizons! LOL! Now I have to hide the next two packages from him. I did inform him that we were going to work with some new recipes!

It was terrific. My family loved it. Used it on sandwiches with peppers and onions and also with pasta. Great product. Would highly recommend it!

never tried this sausage before,...............Awesome, tasty,so universal!!

I also tried it, so yummy. My husband is very picky and he ate two servings. I used medium shells, spaghetti sauce (bertolli), Mild Johnsonville Italian Sausage, and crushed red peppers w/oregano. It was so delicious and very tender. I have never made sausage before and have to say I was impressed it was not dry and/or tough. I know I will continue making more dinners with Johnsonville's Italian Sausage. Next meal, stuffed bell peppers.

The mild sausage is good for any use. We've made breakfast patties, grilled some links, and cooked for a pasta dish! Highly recommended versatile sausage!

Made penne pasta with mild Italian sausage and it was delicious! The flavor was perfect - not too spicy and had a good after taste. The food store did not have the mild/sweet sausage on the shelf. I asked the butcher if they had more Johnsonville sausage in the back. Yes, they did. The package the butcher gave me was frozen. He said they always receive it frozen for freshness. I put it in the refrigerator overnight and it was ready for cooking the morning. Next week, my hubby is looking forward to an Italian sausage with onions/peppers on an Italian roll.

We used the Mild sausage. What flavor this sausage has! I am not typically someone that eats a lot of sausage however hubby loves sausage. We made the sausage, sliced it up and added it to some rigatoni with Marinara sauce. It was even better than meatballs.

We sauted this up with veggies and cheese and made subs. We've never done that before, but it tasted like something you'd by at a fair! It was so good, amazing with fries and onion rings!

I found these products at my local Wal-Mart and decided to try the Rigatoni recipe included in the kit. I made it using Paul Newman's Sockarooni Sauce and the dish turned out perfect. I normally try recipes before serving them to friends but this time they got to sample a new recipe with us. I served it with a big salad and garlic bread and had absolutely no leftovers. We all loved the Johnsonville sausage and I gave our friends coupons so they could try them at home. These products will definitely be a staple in my kitchen.

Used the 'recipe ready' variety to make slow-cooker meatballs in spaghetti sauce. They simmered all day and I only had to make a quick pot of pasta and pop some garlic bread in the oven to have dinner ready. Very simple and fuss-free and it tasted great.

Good flavor but not overpowering!

We used this for meatballs and my whole family loved it. The bowl was empty. I will be using this again and again.

This is our favorite of all Johnsonville sausages ~ we are going to use it to make a sausage and cabbage stew tomorrow for St. Patrick's day.

This was perfec to use for a family dinner of spaghetti, We loved it, kids loved it and no leftovers
