We received four of these for my daughter and they are great, though they do seem to entertain adults more than children. My holdback for 5 stars is that one is out of tune!! They are supposed to sing together, and one is a wee bit off. We just leave that poor one out when we play with them. 4 and up would probably be the right age.

My younger sister (27) teaches chorus and wanted these for Christmas. I spent a very fun (to me) hour in Target picking three that represented alto, soprano and even a little bass singer. It was harder than you would think since I wanted to make sure that they would harmonize. I am sure I annoyed the other shoppers but my daughter and I had a blast and my sister loves them!

good for the children but insane for the parents.... ( well that what there for right for the kids so they will have fun) lol

These are cute for some, annoying for others. We have gotten several in our house (and my dad keeps buying them for my brothers and sisters as well). I don't mind them so much, although it can be quite a scare in the night to accidentally step on one and have it go "ahh" at you! My mom, on the other hand, can't stand listening to them singing constantly, and it is constant in her house - seven of her nine kids are still at home, and four of them play with these. If you think you might be annoyed by the noise, just buy one to test it out. Most people either love them or hate them, and it's not something you know until you've heard it being played with for about two days straight.

My infant was fascinated by the sing-a-ma-jig and the noise it made, but it was pretty hard to push to have it sing. If you're trying to make it sing a whole song it's a forearm workout.

Our daughter received one of these as a toy and it is absolutely creepy but she loves the darn thing. They are too expensive for this economy.

These were really cute at first but got annoying quick. My kids didn't find them to be fun after awhile. Once in awhile they would pick them up and play with them but not as an everyday thing.

As annoying as these things are (and creepy like I see someone else described it), it does interest my daughter at times. We actually had fun with it this afternoon for about 5 minutes -- her and I just couldn't stop giggling at the stupid thing.

these were cute at first, got annoying really quick, waste of money

My kids loved them at first, making all four sing together but now they just collect dust. They are cute but do get annoying quickly.

Even I found these amusing at first, but got over them quickly like the children.

I find these annoying but my nephew loves it!

I had more fun with these than my two year old when we received four as a gift. They are bright and colorful and sing a song as well as in harmony - so you simply must have more than one - the type of item I would save for a rainy day or playdate rather than purchase for my own kid. She had great fun with them, but briefly. A much better investment - colored chalk. which can be used on a chalkboard indoors when it rains and outdoors when the sun is shining, and washes off clothing. I do not think these are environmentally sound - it must take a lot of energy and labor to make them but they will end in a landfill, unlike blocks or chalk or crayons.

Very cute and very different, cool colors and silly singing sounds. Not a bad toy at all, but in my case i liked it better than my three kids 2,4 and 6....... they were board with it quickly and it sits at the bottom of the toy box! Owell i thought it was cute.........

Cute but unfortunately got annoying really quick!
