I usually buy several brands of cat food so that I can have a variety that my cats will love as well as a wide range of nutrition. I would say that Meow Mix is not the healthiest selection but they have excellent coupons and sales in the store for me which make it a great bargain. You can always tell whether cat food is filled with extra by-products because the food is different colors - cat's don't distinguish between colors and it is only visually appealing to the owners. There really is no need for the added chemicals.

I have been feeding my cat for one year on Meow Mix original and she is very healthy. The price is reasonable for the product too.
