I've been waiting to really test these before I posted my review. When I first got the box I was all kinds of excited because this was my first test item from SheSpeaks. I opened the box and was so excited to see the beautiful design on the storage set. My roommate and I usually use whatever storage containers we can find...often re-using the ones that lunch meat comes in nowadays. We were both super excited to see how nice these were and how amazingly easy to store they are. I love that the lids all connect together! That's an awesome selling point for a lot of people. So, the first thing out of the box I did was shove them in the dishwasher (I'm one of those people that wont use something until it's been washed). The cheaper storage containers tend to get a bit disfigured when put in the dishwasher but these came out looking great! The next step was to test the "Spaghetti sauce has met it's match" comment. I wasn't too happy with the results. I didn't have spaghetti but I had just made some homemade Enchelladas and the sauce is just as red as spaghetti sauce, so I threw one in the second largest container and took it to work for lunch. I heated my Enchellada in the microwave at work and afterwards rinsed the dish out...it looked pretty red still. So when I got home I grabbed the sponge, filled the container with hot water and soap and scrubbed it really well. Most of the red came out but there still seems to be a bit of a pink tinge to it. No biggie really, it's still way better than the cheaper made storage containers that stay RED. And besides I'm not really worried about if they stain or not, it was just fun to test that, what I really care about is durability and storage. They're fabulous on both accounts. :-) Two big thumbs up here! LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Rubbermaid Storage Set!

I love these containers. I have already put them on my wishlist for Christmas LOL. I saw a set at Walmart but they werent the glass look kind. I like the look of those, so pretty and durable! Definitely will reccommend them to any one. I cant wait to get more and throw out the crap containers Im using now.

(Picture of product by box) Right out of the box, you can get six (2-1.25cup, 2-2cup, 1-3cup, 1-5cup) crystal clear plastic tubs and six rubber lids with see-through windows. The tubs are nicely "acid etched" with a swirl design. The plastic has the recycle mark and is BPA-free. Microwave safe, Freezer safe. (Picture of all of the containers and lids nested) As you can see, all of the lids and tubs sit together nicely. I love that the set is square so there's no chance of anything rolling away. (Picture of 1.25cup container holding 1.25cup of rice) The tubs are measured true to what's marked. This little container is 1.25 cups. That's what shown in the picture. (Picture of 1.25cup container holding 1cup of orange juice) The most important test I wanted to do was the liquids test. Here is a container with a cup of oranged juice sloshing around. (Picture of container and spilled orange juice) I shook the container and the juice leaked out. I tried to retighten the seal by pushing down on all edges which seemed to stop the leaking. This was disappointing. The box said the the lids are "Flex&Seal Lid, Easy to seal and remove, Premium seal locks in freshness" No where on the box did it say locks in liquids. Oh well. (no picture) Overall, this a very nice set of food storage containers. Very pretty on the shelf and pretty enough to leave on the table. The sizes are just right for leftovers. I love the see-through lids. I don't love the extra effort it takes to ensure the lids are on super tight. Here is the manufacturer's link: Rubbermaid Premier

I was surprised that I really had to search the packaging to find out of these were BPA free. I would probably promote this more, as a selling point. The lids fit really nicely, and I love the smaller size containers. They are perfect for fruit or snacks. As someone who is cooking for one, I go through a lot of plastic containers each week, and these also stay sturdy after being through the dishwasher and microwave many times. I wish they made the lids in different colors, but the color wouldn't keep me from purchasing these.

These may turn out be five star, but I've had them such a short time I can't speak to durability. The lids seem to fit tight, containers wash well in the dishwasher, I like the stacking feature. Good product so far!

I have really enjoyed having some nice new containers to store food in. I already have quite a few Rubbermaid containers that have lasted me for 7 years and still going. I have always been happy with my Rubbermaid containers. Although I've always been good at keeping my containers and lids stored where they can be found easily, this makes it that much easier because of the feature where the lids can pop right onto the bottom of the containers. Also, the fact that the lids pop together so they all stay in one place is great. So far I've used my containers for storing leftover, microwaving food, and serving food to my kids and they have worked great. I only have one complaint about them, and that is that you cannot fill the container to the top because the lid takes up some of the inside space. This has made it so that some items that I planned to store in a certain container don't fit and I've had to put them in something else and then had a dirty container to wash. But other than that they have been great. And they look so much nicer than all my old faded, scratched, stained containers.

I have been a fan of Rubbermaid storage containers for a long time and these have become my new favorite. Upon taking the containers out of the box I was delighted with their quality construction and elegant design. The lids lock great and I am never afraid of food spilling and making a mess. They are easy to clean and even easier to store! These containers keep my cupboard tidy because they are able to be stacked. Excellent product!

LOVING these containers! I love that the bowls totally see through, the window in the lid, and that the bowls stack together so well in storage. I usually have a snack packed in my backpack and these containers are really holding up to the daily beating they receive! My only complaint is that the rubber part of the lid is too thick and takes up a lot of room in storage. Other than that - a perfect storage solution!

I loved the look of these right out of the box. My containers were getting so overused they did not even look clean anymore. I really like the stacking feature so that they do not fall out of the cabinet when I am trying to get something else out. It is eay to see what is inside of the containers without having to take the lid off too. I have suggested my family and friends look for these to purchase.

My family and I really like this Rubbermaid storage set. We find them easy to use, easy to store and the variety of sizes are convenient for all of our food storage needs. The lids are easy to seal while staying on securely in bags and when dropped (which happens with a 2 year old!). The fact that it is plastic is good for durability but I prefer to use glass containers in general and recently converted all of my storage containers to glass. Although these containers are microwave safe, I don't feel comfortable storing liquids or heating food in plastic containers so I limit what I use these containers for. That is the only reason I give them four start instead of five. In general a great product!

I brought the box on vacation to a cabin in Northern MN. The variety of sizes were perfect for our leftovers while on vacation and I'm sure they'll be great at home as well. I store in the plastic but still prefer to transfer to glass before heating in the microwave. We are a little backward here and don't have a dishwasher at home but there was one in our cabin on vacation. The food containers washed well in the dishwasher! Am I the only person who gets thrown by things saying "12 piece set" and discovering there are only 6 containers? It doesn't seem like the lid counts as a seperate piece to me.

After yearning for "nice" storage containers for many years, including the years I was a sales consultant for an private home sales plastic company, the yearning has ended because of Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers. Not only do they take up SO much less room than the cottage cheese containers and Cool Whip bowls, the lids stay with them and do not avalanche all over the floor when the cupboard door is opened! They save me a great deal of money on my grocery budget as well because they are clear. The old saying "Out of sight out of mind" is so very true but it doesn't apply with this product. Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers have become my go to bridal shower gift and they have gotten raves from both recipient and guests! Don't get me wrong, I am not getting rid of the cottage cheese containers and Cool Whip bowls. They will be reserved for sending leftovers home with my middle son. He is famous for not returning containers therefore he will NEVER get his hands on my Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers! Ahh, I think I just got an idea for him for Christmas!! Thank you Rubbermaid and SheSpeaks, for allowing this family to "test drive" this product. It has made a difference in our lives in many ways. Hopefully it will help the friends and family that I have recommended it to as much as it has helped me.

Looks like most people are giving these little guys 4 stars. I would but they aren't quite perfect. I wish I could do 4 and 1/2 stars because I love everything about them. They are sturdy. I love the way they stack but I can't get my husband to put them away the right way. He is still using our old drawer system where you throw whatever lids are clean into the drawer. I also had a tough time at first learning how to close them. I thought I was squishing the inside corners of the lid and not getting a seal but then I saw that's the way they were supposed to be and they sealed just fine. I just wish I had more. I even love the little ones. They are great for those little leftovers, snacks and lunch boxes.

I've had a set for several years and I love how they dont hold odors and they are stackable, I've only lost one but that was because my mother in law stole it. The only thing I think is bad about the product is that the lids are a little hard to get clean( I dont have a dishwasher) and if food stays in it for a long time some times it starts to smell a little but usually a little baking soda gets it right out

I love these. The lids at first I didn't think they would stay together and they do. I love how the bowls stick to the lids. Also I love the small size of the bowls. They are perfect for condiments for when you fix your lunch and would like salad dressing or stuff for your sandwhich. I wish they had bigger sizes for during the holidays.
