This was quite a good novel. The characters developed into rich full people you really cared about that made it hard to put down. I did take issue with the realism some, as the actions of some characters were not befitting the time period.

This is a book I hold near and dear to my heart. I believe a GOOD book does three things, changes you in some way, makes you laugh and makes you cry. It is rare that I find a book to do all three. The Help sent my heart soaring, renewed my passion and restored my faith in humanity. This is a MUST read.
