My brother has this & only paid on sale $20 & it included 1 year service. He hasn't had any problems so far but also has landline & cell too so I wouldn't rely on it for your only phone.

There are true negatives with Magic Jack. First, you have to leave your computer on at all times if you wish for your phone to ring. This will wear down your computer greatly over time. Next, calls made via Magic Jack can sound clear to you, but the recipient can experience a great deal of static and distorted sound. My advice: buy it, but use it only for long-distance calls and as a back-up to a cell phone or existing landline.

I've had magicjack for 6 months and i dont have any complaints. Worth every penny.

We have had Majic Jack for over a year and we love it! We have no existing landline, only cell phones. This has been great for us because we have family in Canada. Rather than pay 50 cents a minute with our cell phones we use our Majic Jack. It requires a small yearly fee and high speed internet. It's much more affordable than a landline.

We have had Magic Jack for about 2 months now and my husband and I love it. The reception is very clear and there are no dropped calls. You also save on a phone bill every month. Personally, I love it!

Reception is clear and call quality is great, but the program disconnects fairly often by itself even when the computer is always connected to the internet.

i think it works faboulous~ i was a little skeptical at first after reading online reviews but works great lots of preks. and you get to pick you phone number i paid 70 that includes the majoc jack and now i have phone for 3 years!!!
