I read this book several years ago and found it to be very engrossing and next to impossible to put down. A very good read!

Don't watch the movie!!!! The book is beautifully written, sometimes goes off into la la land for a little too long, but the story is deep and very well written.

Good book hard to read sometimes just because of the nature of the story

I love this book.

WHAAATTT!!! WHAAAATTT! The Lovely Bones is a book!? I'm in love with the movie, it's my all-time favorite, and I can't believe that it's a book. Why was I not allerted of this! AAAAAAHHH! If the book is anything like the movie, then I must read it! I loved the movie for it's original take on the afterlife and the world that comes before it! It's amazing! I must buy it!!!!!

This was a good book. I liked it, but cannot say that I loved it. It does however give you another way to look at life and death. I know many people that love this book though.

I REALLY LIKED THE BOOK ITS A SUBJECT THATS NOT REALLY TALKED ABOUT IN THE WAY THIS BOOK DOES. MY EMOTIONS WENT FROM SAD TO MAD SO MANY TIMES BECAUSE OF WAD HEPPENS TO THE GIRL ITS JUST ONE OF THOSE BOOKS.

I could not put this book down ... I read it back in 1999 .... and as soon as I saw the previews for it, I knew it was this book before even hearing the title! The story line is amazing, the characters are beautiful ... One of my fav books that I have recommended over and over ... and will continue to do so.

I really enjoyed this book too. Gives you a different perspective on trauma's of life and the after life.

The book is amazing. I have seen previews for the movie and am not really sure I want to see it. It seems to be a far off interpretation of the book. Peter Jackson is a great director, but he admitted that he either omitted or glossed over several parts of the book.

I absolutly love this book.its about a girl that get raped and murdered and discribes from heaven how her family moves on and also her murder acts and tries to solve her case. The book is so interessting it keeps you reading and not wanna put it down unless you have to.
