i loved this book, i read it about 6 months ago. i could not put it down when i started. it really makes you realize that God is really closer to us then we even know. I told everyone i knew about it and suggested it as a great book.

LOVE this book told everyone I know to read it. Could not put it down read it in two days.

I bought and shared this book with my Fiance, he never reads but is enthralled with the story and the relationship between God and man, this is a MUST read book. Sometimes a little hard to read (sad) but journey through it anyway. You will never forget this book and how it betters your understanding of a greater power.

I have heard this book is amazing!!! I cant wait to read it for myself!

Someone gave this book to me, I read it then shared it. I then saw it again at the store & hubby bought it for me. I love it. How can you not get caught up in the story. I have read it to hubby, cause he won't sit down to read. I have told many people about this book, I hope some of them did read it. Its so worth it.

This is an amazing book. I've read it twice and will go back for more. Takes you deep inside and truly makes you think.

When I first got this book, I skimmed it and then put it up on the book swap site I belong to. After I sent it to someone who requested it, I found that I was still thinking about it. There wasn't another copy available at the site so I bought it from Amazon. This time, I read the book and was amazed at what I had missed by just skimming it. I have to say this is one of my favorite books. It was so grounded and didn't promote any particular religious beliefs, which I was relieved to see, as I don't like to be preached to. It is a novel and reads like a novel, not a self help book. It has a good plot and interesting characters. At some point, I will probably read it again. I bought it in hard cover version and this time I am keeping it.

An Amazing Spiritual Book This is a very spiritual book that really gives meaning to the mind and how it works. The book has many adventures and many conversations with God that leave the human mind wondering if this really happened to the Author? But of course it had! Because no one else can give such accurate information about spirits and humans other than God?

You must, must, must keep an open mind when you read The Shack. God can do/be whatever God wants to be. Just get the message from the book, and don't be too concerned with the semantics.

I would recommend this book to anyone looking to become more spiritually enlightened. This is an amazing story of a man and his journey. The writing in this book is so detailed and creative that it creates a picture in the minds eye that feels as if you are right there living the experience your self......GREAT BOOK!!!!!

The Shack is an enlightening book on how God sometimes uses tragedy in our lives to draw us closer to Him. It deals with how the elements of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) work together in our lives. About mid-way through it gets deep - sometimes you have to re-read sentences, paragraphs or pages to get the meaning. A few of the descriptive segments are a little long and in my opinion don't ad to the story. Overall it is a good book.

This was an interesting book. It was a different take on portraying the Trinity and thinking about grief. It is a good book to read.

I enjoyed the book and would diffently recommend it - I too went to the local library and saved the cash.

I liked this book (did not love it) just liked it. I am an avid reader often reading 2+ books a week. I heard mixed reviews about this book but decided to read it since a neighbor loaned it to me. It was a very quick read for me (read it in 1 evening & one day, so less than 2 days) and like i said i did like it BUT i can definitly see how some people did not like it. I think they concept of this book can be very confusing for some people especially people who's religion does not teach about or belive in the holy trinity. this book did have spots that were boring but it also had parts that really got my attention and even some parts that made me cry. This book is worth reading so if your interested at all maybe check it out at your local library so you dont have to invest in it if you dont end up liking it. (but be warned my library has a 100+ person waiting list for this book right now...lol)

I just read this 2 weeks ago. It makes you think about religion in a different light, comforting if you can get past some of the sort of contrived situations and the odd nickname some of the characters use for God. I liked it though, very much.
