I recently received a sample of John Frieda Root Awakening Shampoo and Conditioner. I was a bit skeptical that it would volumize my hair at the roots, but now I'm hooked! After using it, my hair felt bouncier and fuller, with more volume, than it does with other shampoos and conditioners. I also love the way my hair smelled, so fresh and clean, but not overwhelming. The whole Root Awakening line is great for fine hair. I love the smell and how none of the products weigh down my hair. The leave in conditioner leaves my hair so soft.

got 2 samples of this today along with the smoothing lotion, cant wait to try it. i bought the big bottle of detangler and its pretty good, smells like peppermint or something.

I really think this is a great product. Has made my hair feel healthy and bouncy. The eucalyptus smell is so fresh.

Oh and I didn't like the detangler spray very much.I could have used a cheap childrens detangler spray and it would have worked better.

I love this line! My coarse-textured colored hair feels soft and fluffy without being puffy. It has more body and bounce. It feels luxuriously full. The detangler is addicting and the smell is wonderful. No scalp tingle as promised, but who cares? I'll take the nice full hair and leave the tingle to you.

I can't get over how good my hair feels when I use this shampoo! It makes it shiny and it looks great when I style it! It's kinda pricey but I LOVE it! It also smells wonderful and has lots of body!
