Sad to find out today that TOMS are manufactured in China. Totally did not expect a company with such high ethical standards to have their shoes made in a country that places such a low value on human rights and human life. Came to find that out while chatting with a Customer Service Rep about trying to get a replacement part for my daughter's Bimini. Our dog chewed part of the strap and I contacted them to see if I could purchase a replacement part. Guess what? Since the shoes aren't made here, they don't have any replacement parts. I am so disgusted. I honestly wouldn't be so mad if TOMS was some other amoral company. TOMS leaves the customer, who is essentially helping them do what they do, without any help at all.

I dont like how they are over priced shoes with cheap looking material that can get soaked and also that id prefer to wear socks with them I hate sweatty feet lol...I rather pay cheap ones that look exactly alike

It's a great concept but I would really rather give the money straight to a good cause instead of buying overpriced shoes. I do respect the idea behind it.

"This is the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I will not be buying from them again. I got a pair of shoes as a gift that were incorrect. I had to call to be able to return them, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. They said they would be sending me a return shipping label which I never got. I called again, and was on the phone for another 30 minutes. Still no shipping label. I called a third time and talked to a manager and finally got in. I put the shoes in the mail a week later. Four weeks went by and I still did not have a credit on my account, or a refund. I had to call once again to see if they got the shoes. And all she said "Oh yea, those were processed a while ago." She ordered me the correct shoes, said she would send me a order confirmation email which I never received. I asked for it to be linked to my online account so I could see that status. I had to rep tell me that she could do it, and it could take up to 24 hours for it to appear. It never did, talked to another rep that said it was impossible to link it to my account. I will never purchase from them again. As much as I like the shoes, there customer service ruined it. I asked to have someone call me about all of this and of course that never happened. I am to the point that I want to send my shoes back because of all of this."

I like that they are so charitable, but I am not a fan of their shoes. I think they are over priced and poorly made for the money.

I have never owned a pair of Toms shoes, mainly because they're overpriced pieces of fabric. I've tried them on and I honestly wonder why anyone would buy them. They have no support, which is a huge problem for me. They would end up killing my feet after just an hour. The only reason people want to buy them is probably because they're brand name and well known. I find these shoes to be on the same level as the cheap $10 Wal-Mart shoes. I'd rather spend my money on 6 cheap knock offs than throw away $60 on just one pair of cheaply made shoes.

i hate these shoes, they fall apart, they are not comfortable, and they are very expensive.

These shoes are cheap and fall apart quickly. I will never buy another pair again for my daughter no matter how much she wants them. Thanks god Nordstroms took them back.

Love the look...but they fall a part and lose their shape way sooner than you can replace the money for them that you spent. I had one pair and will never buy again. Maybe I will accept them as a gift ...

My daughter has had many pairs of these shoes she loves them but it seems like she is always replacing them because they fall apart so fast!

WORST customer service. Customer Service is the WORST! I placed an order and when I received my confirmation approximately 5 minutes later I noticed the order had been doubled! I immediately call customer service and was told they could not amend or cancel an order because their system is "automated". I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me the same thing. I had to pay double for my order, wait for it to arrive and then go through the inconvenience of returning the unwanted items. Can you believe that? Then I have to wait 5 or 6 days for a refund to be processed. So now they have had double payment for about two weeks because my ship date is not until a week from now. In this day of automation and electronic media their "system is automated" so they cannot amend/cancel orders? Has to be the WORST excuse and the WORST customer service.

I believe that while helping other people in other countries is a nice idea, what about the needs of the people in our own country. There are plenty of people in the US that don't have shoes that could use them among other things.

While these may be comfortable, they are too much so for me. Nowhere near enough support for me to wear all day. Are fun for a few hours, just have to be careful where and how long I have them up or my feet hurt later.

I do not own a pair of Tom's, but I have wanted a pair. I went to try them on and apparently they run small and I always wear a 10, so of course they don't have my size since they only carry to 10 as the highest for ladies. It makes me sad because they have some awesome looking shoes. I have to only give them 2 stars because I am sad since I can't wear them.

I'm with Heather, I wear an 11 women's so I cannot try these shoes. If only they would consider a larger size for us women who are taller with larger feet. At 6' I would look odd with a size 8 shoe!! I cannot give them very high stars because I cannot wear them. What they are doing is great, but not inclusive which is a downer.
