I was really disappointed with Madagascar 2. My family loved the first Madagascar (it was one of my favorite children's movies!) so we were very excited when the sequal came out. Not only did I not like it but my 4 and 6 year old were bored with it. I was shocked at all of the "sexual" overtones. I don't understand why they would go that route with a "children's movie". I would not reccomment this to others!

I was very disappointed in this film. My daughter loves it, but I felt that it was a waste of time. I loved the first movie, but this one lacked the charm of the first movie. It was strange to have different species of animals falling in love. I felt that the script was very lacking. That's my review. Sorry if you disagree.

I totally love the penguins. They make the movie. I do like the sequel better than the first.

Although I really enjoyed this movie and agree that it's terrific for a sequel, I don't think it's approprite for all ages. There is some rather suggestive content here and there and also a possibly disturbing scene involving a somewhat violent kidnapping in the beginning. I personally would suggest ages 6 and older.

Great movie!! We saw in in the theater and we bought the DVD for my 3 year old for Valentine's Day....it is his new favorite movie!!
