Foolproof....if You follow these instructions... I love these. Easy to use alone or layer with gloss. Vert long lasting lip product as kiss proof as they come. Fun and flattering colors. A little drying alone so I usually top them and reapply gloss. Not a LIPSTICK ... A quick during stain basically.

I also got this from Bzz and I LOVE it! Goes on easily, and stays on well if I don't gloss first. I just put some chapstick over it for a natural look, or glossier gloss for a more dressed up look. I just wish there were more colors to choose from.

I love this stuff! I love the color shades and I like the way it feels once applied. It is my new favorite. This new product gets an A+ from me!

I think a lip stain is much better than a lipstick because you get that matte color without the super dry, chalky feeling.

I'm a big fan of this lip stain, because it is easy to apply precisely. There are a great selection of colours, and it really does last a long time. However, it does NOT look very good all by itself. I tend to put a gloss over it with a little bit of shimmer. I find that adding that second product makes this lip stain ideal. I do agree that it doesn't taste all that great, though.

I could not wait to run out and try this product once I saw the commercial. I owned a lipstain several years ago and it was the absolute best product in my beauty stash. I purchased a plum/pinkish color and a deeper berry color of the Outlast Lip Stain. I like the scent/taste and feel. However, I wish there was a bit of moisture so that attention isn't drawn to lines in my lips, etc. The lighter color seemed unnoticeable almost, which bummed me out. The darker hue is much more of a traditional stain and stays on lips for a few hours, depending on what you're doing. I like how it doesn't come off on cheeks (when I kiss my husband or baby). I also wish the color of the tube was a better and more accurate indicator of the actual color that will appear on your lips. Overall, a pretty cool thing to have in your makeup arsenal but make sure you get the darker colors if you want a noticable, lasting result!

I like this product but wish they had more colors. It is easy to apply, doesn't taste bad, doesn't feel heavy or waxy like a lip stick, and has decent staying power. It is perfect for daytime, especially for work. For night time you would want to use lipstick. I have even used this as a blush in a makeup emergency :-)

I am pretty happy with this product with one exception...the applicator. Like most have said, it feels like a dried out marker. But one person mentioned dabbing it or using shorter strokes. I have been trying that and it seems like its working better. I agree they need more colors. I am not a fan of the heavy lipstick feeling and love the fact that I don't feel like I have lipstick on at all! If I want some moisture, I put a little gloss or lip balm over it. I really do like it!

I use this lip stain every single day. It's so nice to not have to worry about a washed-out look when I don't have any color on my lips. #415 is my favorite!

This product is really neat! The lip stain lasts well through out the day. It's pretty cool! It does have an unusual feeling when applied, but dries and feels fine. Downside is no shine and very few colors available. :( I personally apply gloss on top afterwards.

This product is soooo awesome! It complimented my skin tone quite nicely. It was a reddish-orange color and it's great! I just wish there was a bit of moisture because when I put it on, it felt dry and gross. It didn't last very long, though. I had to keep on re-applying almost every half an hour. It is an overall great product though. I love Covergirl!! It costed about $6 or $7 at Wal-mart. I would totally recommend this to a friend!

I like the color and its long lasting. It felt like using a marker on my lips! Gives a natural tint to my lips. The flavor is kind of wierd but overall its a good product.

I love lip stains,usually i buy a more expensive brand, the cover girl had great colors, the only thing i didnt like was also the applicator, too dry feeling, and slightly pulls on the delicate lip area. =(
