I have used Frontline for years on both my dogs & cats. However, this year we started noticing more fleas and my vet recommended a change. The dogs are now on Comfortis and the cats on Revolution. Flea problem under control!

I was surprised at some of the disappointing reviews. I wouldn't use anything BUT Frontline Plus on my cats. They do have different formulas so in order to ensure that your pet is not only flea but also tick free, you need to read the label. When I moved into my husband's (then boyfriend) house, he had an outdoor cat that he used some other brand on and the poor thing had ticks. As soon as we started using the Frontline Plus, we began to see less ticks; and within 2 months/applications he was tick free for the remainder of his life! I think this product is wonderful and since we live in Florida, I use it on my cats all year round.

I have always used Frontline ever since i have had great danes. However, for some reason this year it's not working very well. I had talked to my vet about the flea problem and she had said to used it every 3 weeks instead for every 4 wks. Well that gets very expensive considering i have great danes. However there is another flea medication out called Comfortis (probably misspelled it), but it is in a pill form and suppose to work better. I will write a review when I give to my babies, I had just put Frontline on 3 days ago and am not able to give it to them yet.

I haven't had a problem with Frontline. I apply it to my dog monthly and he stays flea and tick free. We have found dead dried up ticks on him so it is working. Animals vary just like humans so it may work for some and some it may not....you have to give it a try.

I will never use this product again, my cat had a sever reaction to it. I will stick to bathing her in Dawn dishwashing liquid.

I have to say that I am not very pleased with this product. I have an indoor cat that has only recently become and indoor/outdoor cat. Being the economical person that I am I started at the bottom pricewise as far as flea control when we noticed a problem. We worked our way up to Frontline Plus which is the most expensive and therefore, one would think, the best. It has not worked. We are continuing to use the frontline in the hopes that it will begin working better since we are out of options. Sadly my poor kitty has a little rash on his neck for a couple of days following treatment. This is in addition to the pesky fleas that have forced us to make him an outdoor only kitty.

We use this all year, and hve never hada flea problem. Easy to apply and only bothers the cat for a few minutes as it is sinking into the fur. Pricey but worth it!

I think Frontline has changed thier formula. Because the past 2 years I have been battling fleas on and off because the Frontline is not working. I switched to Advantage and it has been working good on the fleas but it doesn't protect against ticks. I need a product that protects against both and I am having a hard to paying alot of money on Frontline when it's not working. I have three big dogs and two cats I have to treat.

This product never protects for long, and doesn't kill the fleas for very long. Now I don't have a strictly outdoor cat, my cat stays inside mostly, but comes out for walks, or when she feels like playing outside, so I feel bad for those who have outdoor cats. The only reason I even tried this product is because my vet put on a treatment during a check up, normally I use a different brand. Long story short... I changed vets after that.

I love this product, my skin is very sensitive, my cat is indoor but I still dont take chances especially when my neighbors have two dogs that we pet often, we only puchase in the Spring/Summer months and it doesnt seem to bother her and I dont have flea's!!!

I enjoy using the Frontline Plus for our 2 cats, but prefer Advatix for our 2 dogs. Hoping this will be a flea-free summer!

3 days before we went to the cabin, I put Frontline on my Lab. When we got back to the city, My dog was running a fever and very sick. We pulled off over 100 ticks; some of them were so deep in her skin that we had to cut them out, and all of them were still alive. I though that it was suppose to kill the ticks as soon as they bit her. I have never been so disappointed in Frontline. My Parents used it on their dog all the time, and they too have switched to a different brand, since they live at the cabin.

This product does work. But it's pricey. I've started using the Walmart brand on my dog, and it works just as good, at half the price. We've never had a flea problem...and Our dog is in and out of the house all day.

Frontline works great for my dogs and cats. I usually buy in bulk since I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and find it much cheaper online than at the vet's office. This is a good reliable product that works.

This year frontline didn't work for our dogs. I even wrote to the company and gave our vets info where we get the frontline from.. I hope something better comes out next year.
