I found this more useful for propping baby up during playtime rather than using it for feedings. It never stayed put for me. Maybe I was doing it wrong?

I used this pillow however felt like I need more support to hold the baby up close and higher. If I used the pillow alone I felt like I had to bend over more and it really hurt my back, expecially after having a c-section. It was good for propping the baby up but I didn't use it much for that either as my lil one moved around alot and would slide down.

This should totally not be called a "nursing" pillow. It is a fantastic pillow for helping you hold your baby comfortably. However, as far as nursing goes, especially as a new or first time mom, this pillow does nothing but make it harder. The fact that it is rounded on the top means that any subtle movement by you or your infant's body during nursing may push both of you back of of proper latch. Start all over again! Hah, so much easier said then done!

The Boppy is ok. The idea is great. However, for me it could be fuller and sturdier for nursing.

Honestly, I never got the hang of using this for nursing. I tried this and My Breast Friend and neither were as convenient as just holding the baby or laying down to feed. BUT, this was good for propping up the baby for tummy time and great as a catch for when they are learning to sit up. Overall, I probably wouldn't buy it again.

I do like the boppy and the uses for it. It makes a nice pillow and can be great for tummy time. However I don't think it's very original when it comes to bottle feeding. It was helpful with breastfeeding but did not reduce my back or neck pain.

We like our Boppy pillow! It's great that it can be used in different ways for different stages. I loved using it for feeding, propping up infant to see the world as they rested on the floor and to aid in their learning of sitting. The pillow case covers are great too. Easy to get on and off to wash. Cute designs too!

I had 2 boppys gifted to me. They were nice but i feel a regular pillow could do the same thing

I had one and it was great super comfy when nursing. Would definitely buy for a friend or even my 2 yr old

I found using the boppy (with both of my kids) as a tool to help when nursing, not comfortable at all. The boppy is supposed to go around you as a support and you set the baby while in your arms on the boppy but it would not fit around me comfortably and kept pushing away from my body so the baby and my arms would drop though the hole. Especially since I had a C-section, it would hurt me more than help to use it for nursing support. Now, I do love it to prop my baby on so she can watch me to she can hold toys in her hand since she cannot fully support herself yet. It helps keep her from rolling over. I did the same with my first child as well and found it to be useful when they are starting to sit up on their own, it helps stabilize them to sit up longer and strengthens their abdominal muscles. My oldest child, now 3 yrs old, loves to use it as a pillow on the floor to watch cartoons too.

great product for newborns!!!

i love my boppy - really is great for breastfeeding. My baby is comfortable nursing and then falling asleep on the boppy while in my lap. It does also work great to support him when sitting up. It is a good idea to have at least two covers so that you can switch one while washing the other. There is even an organic version of boppy and boppy covers. The boppy 'miracle middle' is a little more stretchy in the center so that it fits all shapes and sizes.

While I loved my boppy, I have to say that its not the most comfortable thing for someone who is on the 'slightly fluffy' side (I'm a size 14, not huge by any means, but not petite either). I've found its GREAT for tummy time and for propping my littles ones up, but for nursing its easier to use a standard pillow.

The Boppy is Mommy's best friend whether you breast feed or not!

Great for feeding, but would b/c I'm petite, the boppy was too big and there was always a gap between the boppy and my stomach, so I needed to put a blanket in the gap so that the baby didn't fall in. Or I would have to put a pillow behind my back. However, it does have a multiple uses - it's great for keeping my son from falling backwards when he was first learning to sit up. I also use it to keep my son from rolling over when I changed him by putting his head in the hole. So I'd still choose this one over my breast friend b/c it can be used for longer and more things.
