i been use this since grade school best for me and my kids lips

Carmex is good for severely chapped lips but the taste is disgusting!

This is the only product that will keep my lips super moisturized! I love Carmex! I even like the smell!

Love this product! I am currently on a medication that really dries out my skin and lips. This product has been a lifesaver for me!!! I don't like the cherry flavor however...tastes unpleasant! The original formula is great though!!!

Carmex is unbelievable! I've tried dozens of lip balms and repairing balms this summer, after my lips became extremely chapped. Although when applied, Carmex burns on the lips, the sensation lasts only for a few minutes. This balm is a great addition to my night routine. If I apply Carmex before going to sleep, my lips are always soft and hydrated when I get up.

Carmex is like the stuff of the future for healing, except it is available now! LOL Seriously, it heals chapped lips that good. (It also is really great if you have cold sores as well) I haven't had not one single complaint, and I have used this stuff for years and years, can't really put a number on it, because I am not entirely sire how long I have used Carmex.... but I know it has been a long....long time.. LOL! ;-) Good stuff! Plus, a little jar of it will last you almost half a year! Unless you just want to use it as a gloss, then still, a little bit goes along way!! Must MUST HAVE!

love this chapstick, it works really well and keep your lips hydrated

This is the only chapstick I have ever used, and it works great. My secret is that I put an extra thick layer on at night before I go to bed, then wipe it off in the morning. And my lips stay soft all day without needing to reaply.

Night table sidekick. This brand was the first brand I ever purchased for myself bcuz I saw other people with it. I use this as part of my nighttime ritual bcuz I like to wake up with my lips feeling hydrated. This always does the trick.

I like Carmex but I don't use it for everyday chap stick, I use Lypsyl for that and will never use anything else ever. Having said that I use Carmex for sores and such, for that it is great but for Chapstick not so much.

Best working Product, been around a long time. The tub is classic, but I discovered they have Vanilla and Cherry flavor in the chap stick tubes. I love how they have 3 different types of containers so everyone can pick the type they want to use on their lips. I always need it every winter for my dry cracking and chapping lips. There is a reason this company has been around for so long!

I love Carmex! It has been in my life my ENTIRE life. With my mom it was either this or Blistex for my coldsores when I'd get them. I had left it alone for several years as I no longer get those nasty things, but one day I just decided to give it a try, as just a chapstick. So I picked up a jar and I haven't looked back. That was about 3 years ago. This product is a 5 star product, but it gets 4 because some find the smell medicinal. It smells a lot like leniment/camphor- Which is what it's supposed to smell like, but it's still kind of a turn off.. But not enough for me to stop using it!

This is an old go to for super chapped lips that never fails to deliver. The only drawback is the medicinal smell - I wish that carmex could come out with a fruity or even unscented version with the same reliable benefits.

Car ex is one of the best out there I have used it for years :-)

Having been a snow skier for many years, I have tried it all for chapped lips. Lip balms are too waxy, lip glosses have no hydration, and offer no protection. Carmex in a tube is a great lip treatment for dry, chapped lips. I was very happy to see the tubes because the jars held onto bacteria. Carmex is thick going on and has a medicinal taste and smell, but it coats them with moisture (for a minimal time), helps heal the chapping, and has some degree of protection against the elements. I do, however, prefer the Blistex Medicated tube. It absorbs nicely and I feel it working for quite a while. I think these products are both great, so it boils down to personal preference.
