My first Chi was a 2" and I absolutely loved it! I am now on my 2nd Chi, but am underwhelmed. This is a 1" model and I would give anything to have my 2" back (I have long thick hair). Also missing from this one is the ability to adjust the temperature. There are two settings...ON and OFF. I purchased the 2nd one at JC Penney and am now regretting it. Wish I would have spent the extra money to purchase one at a salon, or even eBay (which is where I got my first one from).

Perfect for straightening or curling! I love this I used my cousins and I've wanted my own ever since! The only flaw is the pricing

This has been the only flat iron that has worked on my hair. It's worth every penny. Even when my hair dresser uses her flat iron to straighten my hair, it kinks within hours. This keeps my hair straight all day.

Omg! I absolutely love this I use on my hair all the time!! It gets very hot which is a bad thing and there are no controls to fix with the temperature. But other than that it's lightweight and it's easy to carry and I love it

love straighting my hair

I have straight hair but I use CHI to make perfect curls that last the whole evening. It could come together with protection gloves to protect against burning while curling as you must press the straightener on both ends.

Worth the price. Really combats my frizz!

i have always been very fond of straight hair.. and this surely is the best solution i can get.

There are a lot of straightners to choose from now. Chi must have done some great marketing because you felt like you had the best when you got a chi. Mine worked well for a solid 3 years, until I had dropped it and the plate broke off. I have thick, naturally wavy hair and it did a great job straightening it without pulling my hair out (which some cheap straightners did). I didn't buy another Chi because I found a good deal on a Sedu, which I think works just as well. So it's a great straightner but I also think it's one of many now.

I have a pair of these flat irons myself and they get the job done. I love these flat irons and take them everywhere I go to get that flawless straight and shiny look. I'd definitely share these with close friends and relatives.

I absolutely loved my Chi! Unfortunately after 4 years it finally died.. I realize that's a good life for a flat iron, but being as it was my first big bathroom purchase, I was kind of disappointed it didn't last longer.

Wonderful straightener I have had two different Chi straighteners and they work wonderfully!!!! I have had my first Chi for almost 10 years and still use it regularly. The only reason I got a second was because I thought it was a different/better model, surprisingly nothing was different. My second was an Ulta special edition and the color/enamel chipped after about a month which was unfortunate, so I went back to my first Chi. I am able to easily straighten my wavy hair and give the ends a little bit of a curl. My only complaint about my Chi is there is no temperature control (one temp only) and there is no auto shut off function.

awesome tool one of the best hair straighteners I have ever used, so glad to own one! my hair fixes so quickly using this tool

This used to be my favorite straightener until I discovered the Sedu. Much better! The Chi is good, but is not the best out there. I have converted at least five Chi users

i have thick hair so it basically took forever. it honestly didnt even straighten my hair it looked puffy. they only thing i like is that it works good as a curler.
