Was not sure what I would be getting into, but was intrigued by all the hype. Not really what I expected, not as graphic as I thought it would be. LOVE the characters and was hooked. I am book 3.

Love it

I liked the first book...but to be honest it got a little old after a while. By the end of the 3rd book, I'd had enough. I was drawn to the characters and kept reading because I wanted to see what their 'endings' were.

I think this book is fun for summer, ok it is poorly written but it is easy to read and fun, sexy.I liked it, waiting for the movie , wondering who is gonna play Christian grey

Very good read and very addicting. Don't plan on getting any housework done till you finish the books. I gave it four stars instead of five because by the time I finished the first book I started skipping over the sex parts. Too much was the same and those parts started getting redundant.

I was a little dissapointed when I started the first book, however I too bacame sucked into the series. I am not a fan of the hard core sex genre however I thought that EL James description of 50's entire being was fabulous and I could not get through the 3 books fast enough. I read A LOT, and all types of genres and for me this was a nice reprieve from the drama, vampire or futuristic books I read. Well done and much more tastefully written than some of those ridiculous romance novels.

Loved it. Ran right through the three of them. The sex becomes secondary to the journey of self discovery. will read it again if I ever get them back from my daughter-in-law,

I started reading these because I was curious what all the talk was about. Well now I know that the talk is about and I have turned so many people on to it. I absolutely loved these books. I couldn't put them down and I re-read the trilogy again immediately after to pick up on the stuff I missed the first time. These are by far the best books I have read in a long time.

I want my money back. I'd heard how wonderful these books were and so I thought I'd see what the big fuss was about. I downloaded the first one to my Kindle and I really want my money back! I have no problem with sex scenes or erotica, but this book was so poorly written that it reminded me of a 15 year old boy's sex fantasy. The dialogue was awful. The book was predictable. Lots of sex? Sure, but I'm still trying to figure out what the big deal is about.

I read all three books in less than a week! The story line is very interesting. A lot of men think women are into the books because of the "raunchy" factor, but what I believe is the ultimate attraction is Christian Grey himself. Isn't it every woman's fantasy to have a handsome, rich man totally in love with them? One who offers her the world, wants nothing more than to protect her, take care of all of her problems, and kiss away her tears......And to top it all off, he makes $100k/hour??? His vulnerability draws us in even deeper. You'd have to leave the sexual affliction in the story, but the explicit details could be left out and it would still be a great series. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, but only one who could accept the adult content.

I must have been one of the few people who wasn't impressed at all with this book. It's not that I'm a prude and opposed to the content, I just thought it was so poorly written it was hard to get through. I enjoy fluff books just as much as the next gal (I've read all the Sookie Stackhouse books) but there is something about this book that is just dreadful. I will say if it adds a spark to someones' relationship than go for it!

Loved these books. Could not put them down.

Great read

This was a great series that kept you interested until the very end. However, it is a little risque at times, but nothing an adult couldn't handle. I would recommend it to those who I knew wouldn't be offended by the sexuality.

While I agree that they weren't the best written books I have ever read, they still were very good. I was not able to put them down and found them highly entertaining.
