I read the book and i was very disappointed with the movie, i understand books are better than movies but they cut alot out of this!

Totally needed better actors. Maybe the book is better

The movie was great. I had read the book and it is not often that a movie, based on a book, is able to incorporate so many of the detail, but it was accomplished here. While the movie is not appropriate for younger children, under 12, I would recommend it to teenagers and adults, alike.

Great movie!!

I usually don't like movies when they are made from books, however I did like this movie! I thought that the movie depicted the book pretty well. I was a little concerned about how violent the movie was going to be and they did a good job of making it not very graphic. I think that the movie stayed pretty true to the book too which is a good thing!! I'm very curious to see how they do on the next two movies and how they are able to follow the story line and how violent they are going to make these movies. I think that the book is better but the movie is pretty good and would watch it again.

I'm very weary of when books are turned into movies. It's seems like a lot of books are being made into movies these days. I had not and still have not read the Hunger Games series yet. But I happened to see that the movie was on sale on iTunes on my iPad. So I bought it and downloaded it onto my iPad. I have to say that I was really impressed with this movie and it was something that I wasn't expecting and not in a bad way.

I didn't read the book but I think the movie was great. Suspensful yet action packed with an unexpected love story. A very good date movie. I also think the cast was great and diverse.

One of my favorite movies and it stayed true to the book. It a definite must see!

The concept is so unrealistic and the acting is sub-par. I'm sure that you need to read the books first in order to understand everything better.

Maybe it was the hype of what I was hearing but I wasn't really impressed with this movie at all....the acting could've been better and the special effects could've been alot better.

I am not sure how I feel about this movie. It was interesting movie but it is hard to see bad things happen to kids.

The book was so much better, maybe if I hadn't read the book I would give this movie a better rating. Still a pretty good movie, just didn't stick to the book.
