After washing, this brush goes through it with minimal breakage, if any. I also have a small one in my bag. Great brush and I've even used it for styling my bangs. Great for kids I absolutely love this brush. I have one in my car, two in my main bathroom, one in my side bathroom, one in my purse, etc. I have thick, long hair, and this is the perfect brush to detangle horrid knots and tangles very quickly and painlessly. I only use this brush for my three-year-old's hair because it's a mess in general, and this is the only brush that she will allow me to use because it works so well.

Best Brush I love this brush so very much and can not live without one of these. I have been using the wet brush for years now and there is not better brush on your hair.
