This product kind of works for me, I guess I expected to do a little more, it dried it a little but not a hole lot.

I have been in love with Goody hair care products since my early teens, so I was over-joyed when Influenster gave me the chance to test this brush out for free. The Goody QuikStyle Paddle Brush comes with super absorbent microfiber bristles that are suppose to remove up to 30% of water as you style. I've heard of this type of material being used for towels and shammies before, so I was excited to try it on my hair. Now I usually avoid blow dryers at all costs, preferring my shoulder-length locks to dry naturally, so this QuikStyle brush was a perfect fit for me--and it really does seem to dry hair faster by absorbing excess moisture! Working the brush through my hair was easy, de-tangling was a breeze, and the end result was both smooth and silky. Would I recommend this brush to someone looking for a heat-free alternative to style with? Absolutely, yes. It won't dry your hair instantly, but it will get the job done 30% faster than you're use to. BOTTOM LINE: Good enough!

I must say that it really does cut down on the dry time. Now, keep in mind that I have short hair (above my shoulders) so the dry time is not usually terribly long in general. This brush, however, shaves off a few minutes of the process. I shower at night before bed so in these cold winter months the quicker I can be warm with dry hair the better! I towel try my hair as much as possible after getting out and then run this brush through my hair for about a minute. I have even been flipping my head over and brushing it upside down to get all the hair underneath as well. While I blow dry I'll continue to use the brush to speed up the process. I have two slight problems with the brush though. First is just personal choice. I have short hair, so the large paddle style brush is awkward for me to use for styling. Second, is the hair getting caught in the bristles. Since the microfiber pieces are in between each bristle, hair gets wound around those as well. Hair doesn't pull out as easily as with a regular brush. One other thing I did think of is that you would really only want to use this brush when your hair is wet and clean. Otherwise the oils could possibly accumulate on the microfiber pieces and could be redeposited onto your hair on another use. I wouldn't say that my hair looks or feels any different but I think this is a great idea and I will continue to use the brush.

I have very long, thick, yet fine hair and I dread, I mean dread blow drying my hair. I'm typically not a fan of paddle brushes because the little balls at the end of the bristles tend to get caught in my hair and pull it out. To my surprise, this brush was much more gentle than other paddle brushes I have used and the little sponges between the bristles really do soak up the water cutting drying time in half. The brush worked really nicely on my bangs and gave them a smooth finish but if you're looking for a round brush effect on the rest of your hair you may have to pull out another round bush to finish the job and to completely dry hair.
