This gate is easy to apply to a doorway but at times i find that it pops out if we slam the gate too hard. It is very difficult to open. You really have to push the button in and then press down and trying to do that with one hand is a chore! When we have company I have to give a tutorial on how to get through it. The gate does keep the girls out of the kitchen. I think if they would fix the way the gate opens it would be great. The price was reasonable and this gate is found in most stores.

Ok but not great. It keeps the kids out but also keeps me out since it's so hard to open. I wouldn't buy another one.

I gave 3 stars because it dies what its suppose to keep a baby out plus it has a little area where green means its locked red means its not. The one thing i hate is how hard it is yo open. I have to put my kids down so i can use 2 hands to squeeze and then push down to unlock its too much to do even for me!

The Evenflo Baby Gate is a good product for crawling babies but once my kids were old enough to stand and walk, they learned how to manipulate the lock mechanism and get the gate open. If using the extension, it's really easy for kids to just jiggle the gate and it all falls apart. My husband and I tried multiple ways to get the gate to stay in place but it would always just fall apart when our little one would jiggle it. We now have it blocking a doorway that we don't need the extension with and it's holding up much better.

Best gate out there. I couldn't afford this baby gate when I had my son because I was a single mother and I found a lady selling this baby gate it was so easy to put up and keeps my son from bothering the dog. I love this gate it's so easy to open and use unlike the old wooden gates.

My step daughter was always running her scoot around cars into our cheap baby gates and knocking it down. I'm always getting stuck in my friends baby gates because they get jammed shut, but I have gotten good at using this one with only one hand. I'm shot so having a baby gate that doesn't have a door like this one was terrible I had to practically jump over them. Yes this product is a little more expensive but it is so worth it.

I do not own one of these the price is really high. But friends of mine have one and they are extremely nice looking. And easy to use.

Yess Baby gates are the best. They keep everything out. My cats especially. I needed to buy one of these so they wouldn't get upstairs now my upstairs is completely cat free unless I say they can come up and play

Great Gate This gate is great for keeping babies in one room. I use it for keeping my animals out of the kitchen. It's very easy to go in and out through the gate door. I would recommend to anyone with a little one, or with pets.

Keeper of Our Wanderer We have this baby gate at the top of our stairs and love it. We appreciate the height and the mechanism that only allows the gate to swing one way. This is perfect to keep our one year old wanderer contained and safe.
